  1. heads up if you did not buy yet, smartpunk seems to have a decent amount of both records yet. while merchnow, fye, and retailers (ie amazon) are close to being sold out.
  2. these guys do crazy stuff with vinyl but i am surprised they could afford their own storefront with it being profitable.
  3. this turned out to be hard to get...a company sent the wrong records, another sent broken records, another delayed shipment...but i am glad to have them now almost a full month later
  4. i believe it was august 2015 that it was announced that every music release would be released on the same day worldwide (friday was the chosen day)
  5. i only started collecting vinyl in 2008 and a year later the US press came out (stickered with 'for the first time on vinyl'). german just happened to get it a little earlier but that always happened with releases until last year when they decided to make all music the same release date world wide.
  6. every country gets their own version, take the cd, its the same thing but russia, mexico, japan, korea, canada all have the exact same cd with a diff barcode. who cares? its the exact same thing. i always buy the usa version and only import if not released in usa (very rare to not be, ie; cassette tapes)
  7. its top line, the german press your confusing of is the exact same but different countries use to have different release dates, in this case 7 years apart.
  8. welp here they all are in all their glory, as a bonus i even added the original reprise presses. self titled from left to right: 2009 reprise press, 2016 hopeless repress - merchnow; retail; fye; smartpunk in love and death from left to right: 2004 reprise pic disc, 2009 reprise repress, 2016 hopeless repress - merchnow; fye; smartpunk; retail
  9. yup the gatefold is very nice. i thought they would of fixed the disc1 / disc2 thing and just made it side 1 2 3 4 but oh well. it also could of been 1 lp if they cut out of silence before the hidden track (like the did with imaginary enemy). but at least they made it 45rpm to make use of the 2 lps.
  10. lots of people messaging me about when LFTL and artwork will follow with vinyl represses. i do not work for the used so i do not know... but may-2017 is the 10 year anniversary of LFTL so i am thinking we will see something then
  11. the used are top of the line...all my tastes and life i make top of the line.... what is more laughable is when someone thinks it is funny i like the used and then i see what bands they get excited about.

  13. i do not recall ever making a joke or unserious comment on this forum.
  14. looks like the internet explorer 'e' thats $15 per record plus bonus art/packaging...that seems fair. most lps cost more then that. the used are the best, of course people buy them.
  15. got ya. i would think that would frustrate more people though. vinyl variants with every store getting a diff color is a little out of control at the moment. much like how bonus tracks were out of control on cds 10 years ago when every store had an extra song. but with the cds, the bonus tracks could just be downloaded so it was not a big deal to just buy the regular version then download the extra songs, it was acturally nice to get to download a few extra tracks. but with diff color vinyl, the only option is to buy them all to complete collection. i think there should only be 2 variants of every record released, your classic black and a unique color if buying it directly from the band. but it seems colors are the trend right now and the way labels/bands are rolling... although i think its a ploy to get people to buy multiple copies, the same way it was with the bonus track cds i mentioned.

  17. what is with all these record subscription clubs popping up all the sudden? do people really enjoy getting mystery records? i see people opening boxes on youtube and getting so excited about a record they got when they could of just bought it if they wanted it. i could see someone who is new to vinyl maybe liking it to grow their collection or someone who is a music addict that loves all types of music who truly enjoys vinyl and likes to experiment but overall i am surprised at how popular these mystery monthly boxes are.
  18. just saw on twitter that there are tour exclusive colors as well...tbs is big on releasing lots of different variants...almost too many?
  19. surprised that they are even allowed to do that...surprised there is no purchase limit.
