Yeah the buttons on the Hopeless records linktree thing literally say "LTD 3,500" and "LTD 1,500", respectively. So 5K together.

TWY did add a UPS option which makes it only $3 more expensive now.

You’re not wrong on this. I already have a bone 2xLP so it’s a hard sell, but I mostly want the book. I’m interested in the lore/history of their first 3 albums.

Seeing the flippers squeal on this one was nice. I was watching the eBay prices for the last variant all week. Just kept sliding and sliding. Some people maybe not in the loop are still holding out for a $350 paycheck.

I’ve actually kinda been on a neo-classical kick lately so this is a maybe. Anyone got guesses on whether Sufjan fans are diehard enough to sell out the deluxe before release (particularly because of the instrumental nature)?

Also, am I the only one not digging the song immediately? It kinda seemed like generic parts of ETID and DEP slapped together. I kinda like some moments of calm in my ETID songs. This one was kinda go-go-go. I kinda spaced out and wanted it over half way.

It is 1:30AM. Just got back driving from one side of California to the other and found this package. Decided to open it to see what I got. +1 point for being two things that I somehow didn’t have.
 

Got a test press for Donovan Wolfington’s “How to Treat the Ones You Love” and a Silver Pressing of The Jazz June’s “After the Earthquake” Also included were like 6 label stickers, a Bandcamp paper for their 2021 Sampler, and 3 posters (Really From “ST”, Sorority Noise “It Kindly Stopped for Me”, and Pianos Become the Teeth “The Lack Long After”)

So not the greatest value at $147 shipped, but I get that it was mostly for them anyways. I won’t be an asshole about it. I do dig the DW release and jam it semi-regularly. I have only listened to that JJ record maybe once though so we shall see. Posters may honestly be the thing I was most excited for.

Evan from IIOI was talking about this the other day. Basically 7”s generate no profit for a band/label at this point. Even pricing it at $12 (pre shipping), they barely make a few bucks per 7”.

Lol it's a me. I sold my red 1LP like ayear or two ago and took a final video comparing "The Devil in my Bloodstream". Night and day. They crammed that one way down in on the inner grove on the first press. My bone press is nice and quiet.

Yeah. Cataract. I'm going to message them. ABR vinyl usually sounds really good actually, so definitely a surprise to have one of my worst records be from them. I'll see if I can record some of it in case they ask for it back.
