SO MUCH WRESTLING this weekend. Jeeez. Takeover was excellent. The first and last matches were probably the two best NXT matches in its history; the ladder match might be the best ladder match I've ever seen (and absolutely the best 6-way). Gotta watch it again. Also watched the WrestleCon SuperShow and a couple GCW shows (Matt Riddle's Bloodsport, Joey Janela's SB2) yesterday, which were all pretty good to great. Quite a few standout matches. Now I gotta try to get the WWN Supershow, Supercard of Honor and the RevPro show out of the way before WrestleMania starts. AND there's still shows I'll have to catch up on later. WM weekend has turned into a freaking marathon. Gonna need a break after this, ha.

Anybody else going to NJPW Strong Style Evolved this Sunday? I can't wait! Golden Lovers vs The Bucks is going to be off the charts and Switchblade vs Hangman/Liger vs Mysterio should be great too. Rest of the card should be announced in the next few days.

March is an especially busy month with the Anniversary Show, New Japan Cup (a 2 week tournament) and Strong Style Evolved. It's usually just 1 or 2 big shows a month with a couple "Road To..." shows before the main ones. Not anywhere close to being as overwhelming as WWE's schedule.

Guess Rey Rey isn't back with WWE after all.. This is going to be awesome! Rey looked to be back in 90's shape again at the Rumble and Liger can still go with the right opponent. The two best of their respective divisions going head to head all these years later. Their Starrcade 96 match is one of the first matches I remember seeing as a kid.

"American Nightmare" is one of the best gimmicks going and he's been great at kayfabe. Super meta. Cody, especially, has really been knocking it out of the park with this slowburn BC breakup. I'm traveling to see NJPW Strong Style Evolved at the end of March and I'm hoping for the rumored tag-team match of Golden☆Lovers (Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi) vs Cody & Hangman Page (which will segue into the aforementioned match at Supercard of Honor! ).

Yeah, Supercard of Honor is the closest NOLA will get to a NJPW show. Kenny vs Cody should be awesome though, based on the angle and possibilities alone, so you'll at least get to see some New Japan storyline advancement.

Thanks for the invite, but I'm gonna have to pass on Rumble lottos this year. Not sure if I'm even gonna watch and trying to save money. I still have to buy Strong Style Evolved tickets on Monday.

I read very recently that VMP has the rights to repress Demon Days for a year or something and that they had planned another pressing. There were supposed to be copies in the December store, but I guess maybe they got them earlier than expected.

Bummed that MO/KS got the shaft with exclusives (and tour!). Thought for sure, at least, Mills would be on the list. This thing rips so hard.

Woowee, $150-175. . I want this, but besides the price tag, getting through a 7xLP would be tough. My GAS box is 7xLP, but I can only get through an album at a time. And my girlfriend probably wouldn't ever let me spin this anyway. Same reason I don't own any other Prurient on vinyl.
