But if you're really intrigued about guys making out - and no judging, on my end - I'd suggest getting into a lengthy argument with HIR. Keep at it long enough and the pet names will come out. If you move in quick and just go for it, you may get lucky.

Jake wasn't exaggerating when he said that this is quite arguably the most impressive release that Deathwish has handled, product-wise. Simply gorgeous, from cover to cover. I'm also delighted that it matches the exact height of the PTSBBAM deluxe, on the shelf.

This, totally. Assuming I'm not absolutely strapped for cash, I always try to kick in at least a few extra bucks to make it worthwhile to whoever is helping me out. Even if he asked $35 PPD, it's still considerably better than all of the eBay prices.

Yeah, a single $20 LP from Hot Topic is $26 PPD, with change. Tax and shipping are always a nasty combo. Plus a couple of bucks for shipping; his $30 asking price is right on the money, and he's making no profit whatsoever.

I feel like 2013 was VC's Year of the Babes. Not to imply that we didn't already have our fair share back in 2012 and earlier. Maybe it's just me and the lack of time I spend in the Everything Else board, compared to most folks, but there really seemed to be an influx this year. Or maybe they've all become obvious at once. Either way, zero complaints on my end.

This is the right mentality. I'd like to retract my previous comparison of POZ to The Onion. After giving it some thought, I think POZ are a much closer match to TMZ. I picture a bunch of jack-offs in their mid 20s, sitting around and twiddling their thumbs while waiting for "juicy" music information to leak. Someone - presumably Zack - goes around the room, inquiring for the shitty nuggets of "news" that are frantically pulled up on a series of tabs, staggered haphazardly between Buzzfeed, Tumblr posts of cats, and Absolute Punk articles. Said "contributor" nervously stutters and stumbles to summarize the article [The, V-VC message forums seem to, uh, seem to th-think that Deja is gonna'... gonna' get, you know. More copies, maybe, uh, in 2014?] And if said news generates enough buzz across the group of goon's sheep mentality, it gets slapped on the front page like it's a breaking story. I wonder how long they'll lose any and all credibility. Couldn't be soon enough, as far as I'm concerned.

Well. I guess we aim to please. I honestly couldn't have done it without Heaven Is Records, so make sure he gets a fair round of applause, too. I agree that the bickering is stupid and trivial. But if we're being honest, it's confined to a very specific thread. It's not like we're cluttering up an actual Botch or Deafheaven topic, where fellow members are constantly checking new posts for updates and legitimate discussion. After the second or third exchange of posts between HIR and I, you should know exactly what you're getting into with this thread, you know? I understand that it may be annoying to see this topic bumped to the top of the S/T/W board... but it was slow, yesterday, and the pre-existing threads weren't going anywhere. I guess what I'm trying to say is that, while, yes - arguing on the internet is a pointless affair - no one was forced to stroll in here and sit through the argument. And as such, it seemed unnecessary to post things like "Hey guys, this seems personal. Take it to a PM!" If it was in a "mainstream" thread I wouldn't have gotten into it as much as I did. I've done that in the past, and I can genuinely see why it's annoying. But in a niché thread, in the corner of the crawling S/T/W board? Give the dudes their space.

I believe the band has hinted that they'll be doing their own repress of Juturna next year, to commemorate the album's 10th year. And I think you're right -- each of these albums will likely see future represses, somewhere down the road. But I think that these particular variants (/1,000) have been officially exhausted.

Well. I was under the impression that the 24th was the "actual" release date, and that they just so happened to pop up (in sporadic bursts) over the past few days. That being said, they were available - briefly - this morning, when the other new releases went up. And they're one again sold out. I would assume that no more copies are going up, at this point.

It's all about that improv, man. It's understandable if it's not for you, since no style of humor can appeal to 100% of everyone. But; I'm The Juggernaut, Bitch -- you mean to tell me that didn't tickle at least one funny bone back in the day?

I read that as well, but I don't know how much of it I buy. I can understand if he's not reading from a specific script, but some of the lines, lips, and context just lines up way too well. He at least has to have a general direction of the jokes and timing.

I can't say it'd really surprise me if this popped up on Christmas, or the 26th. Think about the amount of traffic Hot Topic has received over the past few days, and the sheer amount of separate orders. Your average VC member is placing a separate order for, and thus paying separate shipping costs on; Friday, for brief / sporadic Juturna copies. Saturday, for spontaneous Juturna and On Letting Go copies. Sunday, for "the actual" batch of Juturna copies. Monday, for "the actual" batch of On Letting Go copies. Tuesday, for the Rise Against represses. $ha $hing. Yes, I'm aware that Hot Topic doesn't make a killing on shipping fees. And yes, I know that this reads like a laughable conspiracy theory. But really; why not wait for all of these to get dialed in and put up at once? Since when has Hot Topic ever updated their "new releases" on any day other than Tuesday?
