also, updates! Our imprint label CHAMBER 38 has now opened with the debut LP from OSCOB, "Eating Yourself Alive." This imprint will allow us to release a wider variety of experimental music like plunderphonic, cloud rap, noise, glitch, vaporwave, metal, etc - without compromising the consistency of the BLUD releases, which will remain hypnagogic synth. On the contrary, I'm absolutely blown away with how the VMP version turned out and much prefer it to the mockups. I'll take some pictures of mine if anyone's curious.

Yeah, I was eventually able to get to it from this link, but had no idea about the Flightless version (I was looking for it on their Bandcamp - didn't realize they'd switched to a proprietary shop)

Say it isn't so! I only just now saw this version after trying to load the ATO website for hours and failing. If anyone copped an extra you'd make my day! I'll keep aimlessly refreshing

I noticed something interesting about the Newbury press. Me and my friend each purchased a copy, and both received a bright red translucent vinyl copy. They both sounded nice, but mine had a skip on the B-side, so I exchanged it at my Newbury Comics (they were super cool about it) I was surprised to see when I got home that my new copy is on opaque red wax with some subtle dark marbling. The labels and audio qualities sound identical, but I found that pretty strange. I wonder what the ratio between translucent / opaque is.

They had an in-store sale off vinyl - didn't even know about it until they rang it up st the counter. And it's true that Newbury only sells variants made by whichever label is pressing the record, so the quality is dependent on the label itself, not NC. But i will say in general i've had mostly good experiences with their releases
