Dang I missed the orange too?! Guessing there might be more variants, guess I'll set notifications for their socials so I don't miss 'em.

Damn, looks like the vinyl is all sold out, might still get a ticket to the livestream just for nostalgia.

If anyone’s still looking for The Menzingers “Chamberlain” album they’ve put up copies on the red scare records page. One copy per household.
This is great, I was able to snag a copy.

F. No way I'd try to scoop up a "would-be" $300 haul of vinyl on the aftermarket, either. I can especially relate to the struggle of having to drive just for a chance to show up and maybe buy something – that was my situation for years. I've never taken a day off for RSD, either, so they weren't even feasible when I used to work weekend.
Was that what you witnessed this year? Gotta' be an especially grueling / boring lineup if everyone is spaced out and encouraged not to socialize too closely. I've never done an overnight lineup for RSD but I imagine they're only manageable with good company. Remove that aspect and it's just a bunch of pretentious assholes waiting in the cold to get dibs on a limited record.
I didn't go out this year since I was pet-sitting but it seems like every shop near LA I would go to was doing some sort of distance line-up or other way to limit people. Your right too, the best memories are being out super early and chatting with people, making plans to help each other so everyone gets what they want.

The Bull Moose cancelations are kind of dumb. Can someone explain to me the real strategy of keeping these exclusive for October? The idea of splitting up RSD into multiple dates was to stagger the mass appeal of releases, thereby reducing the number of bodies in a store... right? Why not have a day - last weekend - to celebrate the "in store" experience, and then take the rest online? If people want to place orders and spend money now – which won't actually leave their bank until end of October – why halt it? Seems pretty dumb to me, and gives customers a chance to lose interest or shop around. As a seller, I'd want to lock that shit in now. I know it's more an RSD policy than a Bull Moose one, so clearly my critique needs some redirection. But RSD spirit is in the air, and we're all in it, doing our best to not breathe it in too much. But just on VC, I mean: helping one another with links. Rejoicing in those clutch restocks that seem too good to be true, but actually end up shipping. Finding that 1 sweet listing on Discogs and racing through checkout. Banding together and covering our assholes from scalpers on the prowl. It's community. It's a good vibe for as shitty and frustrating as RSD tends to be. Why part that out into a bunch of tiny, frustrating days? There's two more scheduled releases of this shit?
I live in Los Angeles and I can't imagine a world (or shop no matter how much I love my local spots) where I want to social distance line up at the crack of dawn for 1 or 2 items. I don't know what the best way to handle it is but this was truly worse than usual.

Doctor Strange just canceled my order, bummer, guess I'm on the hunt for Menzingers again.

It looks like the Sept releases are up for preorder on bullmoose. Must be a mistake but i preordered 4 titles just in case. Lol
Pre-ordered My Chem - Life On The Murder Scene, we'll see if it stays or gets canceled.
-
Got an order in for Menzingers at Doctor Strange, hope it goes through.
-
Refreshing every page I can hoping to score The Menzingers. I guess I could get the regular press but I'm a sucker for the extra stuff said to be in this one.
-
Grabbed the Zia variant, easy buy since I keep meaning to get a copy of this.
-
Ended up grabbing the deluxe on Amazon, been wanting to get Hybrid Theory for ages and this is a good excuse. Really excited about the b-sides and rarities, I used to have so many on my hard drive back in the day.

I'm no longer as big Mastodon fan as I used to be, that said... Cut You Up With A Linoleum Knife on vinyl almost pushes me into buying this.

Dang, memories of Anthem playing on the Burnout soundtrack. I like this album... But I don't know if I $28 like it...
-
Bought the splatter, I know it won't look as good as the mockup but I like it slightly more than the Deathwish exclusive.
-
I remember my first black splatter was Make Do and Mend - Everything You Ever Loved. Black with gold splatter, except even under the best light you can barely see the splatter. Learned my lesson and foolishly still by black with splatters.
-
I like what appears to be the US splatter, also excited that the Limelight video is billed as part of a "visual album",

Deflector is in the album btw.
Super excited for that, I really like Deflector, also wild to see a Touché Amoré song over 5 minutes. I truly can't wait for the pre-order to go live.
-
So kind of them to wait until Wednesday when I get paid, knowing I'll spend whatever I can on their music.
-
Y'all beat me to sharing Kat's tweet, super excited for this.

Someone’s selling a couple of tour variants on ebay. Looks different from pic here
I'll be back home tomorrow and take some more pics, the one I found on eBay looks like mine (at least the little bit peeking out of the inner-sleeve). I don't remember what the mockup was, but my receipt is "NEON YELLOW AND RED CLOUDY [tour/band exclusive]"
-
My tour variant just showed up today, no shipping notification or anything. Haven't spun it yet but it looks great!
-
I don't wanna bother Toby since I know the postal service is pretty gnarly right now and it's out of his hands, but I thought I'd ask here if anyone has received their copy yet or a shipping notification.
-
Dang, I'm really bummed I missed this, hope there's another variant or pressing in the works.
-
Hell yea, really loved Meet Me On The Moon and I'm so excited for new music from them.

This is really great, now if we could just get a new People And Things press I'd be set.
