Just came here to post this. I loathe SRC, so debating whether or not to hold out for someone else...

Was stoked to walk out of a meeting and be greeted with this. I had been holding off on buying one of those OG blue pressings from DW, but this will suffice and also save me quite a bit of money. Price is still too high though IMO. Friggin' Newbury'd it.

Nope, that's the blue/red split for Non-America territories. Invada has been selling it for a while now.

Not sure it's so much the want for consistency as it's the want to get these out in the market as soon as fucking possible. I like the artwork but wish it didn't have a black vignette and instead spanned the entire cover, and I really wish Vol. 2 was different. Watch the Box set feature the same design on the cover and then these same Vol. 1 & 2 covers inside.

I'm going with Waffle Swirl for Vol. 2. Still trying to decide between Clear/Black Swirl or Red/Black Swirl for Vol. 1... hmm...

I think the extra wait is worth it for the US pressing IF it does indeed include Change Your Mind in place of Glamorous Indie R&R.

I'm not so sure about that. They've already had Sam's Town up for preorder before, several times, just like they did with Beck and Elliott Smith. Their latest communications made it sound like this was the last tiny batch they were going to put up. Could be wrong, though. Their e-mail also said to check local record stores, but every one in the area I've called aren't getting any. Hmm.

And sold out. I can't believe how fast these are selling. Thankfully I was able to nab one this time around. Zia is out of stock again, too.

That's my fear. Crowd full of people with those tri-color snapback hats and christmas lights draped around their necks. I'd love to be a fly on the wall during some of the band's personal conversations regarding their new success/attention, the show, etc.

The obi strip says "Original Soundtrack : Original score composed by..." It seems like just the score to me. I'd sorta be surprised if they were able to release the full various artist soundtrack.
