  1. Any time I try to check out with FUTCT, the shipping (international) is $38 regardless of quantity in basket and then when I try to complete the check out I get greeted with a "this merchant only ships to the United States" message. Has Hot Topic since changed/removed international shipping on vinyl? I've ordered from there before with no problem.
  2. https://store.vincestaples.com/products/prima-donna-vinyl-ep Bit confused on this one. Initial landing page says "limited edition white 10" vinyl, only 5,000 numbered copies" then when you click the listing it says "only 1,000 individually numbered copies". Either way it's a lot of money for a 6-track EP, especially when the digital download is only for US residents as well. I'm a big Vince fan but $40/£30 for it to be delivered to the UK is too much.
  3. So excited for this. The new song's sweet. Had to grab the early bird gold and Chris Strong art prints bundle. Edit: Had to cancel this for the EU silver. The weak pound sucks.
  4. Received my 180G orange pressing from Wichita this morning. Would post pictures and thoughts but I'm not opening/listening to it yet as my setup's sadly all packed away ready for a move.
  5. Was just browsing Amazon (UK) and found these pre-order listings for TOYPAJ (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Take-Your-Pants-Jacket-VINYL/dp/B01K788XEE/ref=sr_1_104?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1471898025&sr=1-104) and Dude Ranch (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dude-Ranch-VINYL-Blink-182/dp/B01K788V8W/ref=sr_1_123?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1471898056&sr=1-123). Would anyone have any info/idea about these listings?
  6. If you're in the UK and wondering what to do to avoid paying through your nose (shoutout Brexit for the currency plummet), I asked Banquet Records if they'd be carrying them and they said yes. No sign of the pressings on their site yet but hoping for some sort of update/listing soon.
  7. No worries. Yeah I was impatient too and emailed them because I didn't want it to sell out before my VIP membership was active haha. I don't know if they activated it once they saw my email but if yours still isn't active by the end of today you should email them and they'll sort it out.
  8. It took about a day for mine to come into effect and then the free shipping option appears in the checkout process. If you have any questions just email them at [email protected].
  9. EU/UK brethren, pay $5 to join Joyful Noise's VIP service for a month. It allows you to get free shipping to the EU/UK that takes a little longer but is free so your order comes to approx. £19 (with the VIP membership) instead of £33 if you pay the normal $24 shipping.
  10. For anyone outside the US, I just asked Saddle Creek about it being distributed in the UK/Europe and they said it will be. So don't pay the $80/£60 shipping just yet.

  12. My guess is that they're never going to sound close to the CD because the vocals throughout the album are so processed and the presence of pitch correction is fairly noticeable.
  13. Nah don't be filling my head with false hope. The more likely explanation is that it's KRM and they're just a bit inconsistent in my experience.
  14. Any Kings Road customers not in the US got theirs/have had theirs shipped yet? I've seen some US folk get theirs but my purple bundle (an almost immediate order when the POs first went up) is still sadly sat on "shipping soon".
  15. For days people have had the same bundle as I ordered yet mine says "shipping soon". RIP international customers, I guess.
  16. Data-Discs are doing an OutRun pressing to celebrate the 30th anniversary. 3 variants: Mint green, clear and pink; Mint green; and Classic black. All 180G. Preorders go live on Saturday 25th June 19:00 BST. http://data-discs.com/products/outrun
  17. Glad I didn't go for the silver now. Came out a duller grey than imagined.
  18. If anyone ordered from Resident in the UK, they've told me their "eagle-eyed packer" spotted the colour debacle earlier in the week when dispatching them so there shouldn't be any mixed up records received.
  19. No worries. Mainly just wanted folk to know they could check before opening, in case they want to return or sell on their copy still sealed.
  20. So, XL have just sent out a note that "some of our Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool WHITE VINYL is in fact black despite having LIMITED EDITION WHITE stickers on the front." You can check what colour you received without opening by looking at the barcode on the back. White Barcode: 634904079000 Black Barcode: 634904079017 They also state they don't have white to replace the black, should you receive one in error.
  21. Yeah I've tried asking a couple of times but get no response about any potential repressing sadly. It is shitty. I guess the only thing you could maybe argue is that shipping is included in the price? But £28 is still rather steep. Other places like Rough Trade, Drift, Resident, etc. have a regular, non-signed one but even then it's still £25 before postage.
  22. New album from Slow Club 'One Day All of This Won't Matter Anymore' is up for preorder with signed CDs (158 left), LPs (162 left) and posters (22 left of each colour), sadly the TPs are already sold out. Also a 7" featuring two tracks not on the album available, hand embossed by the band (78 left) and handwritten lyrics sheet (6 left). All available here: https://slowclub.pmstores.co Produced by Matthew E. White, the album's coming out on August 19th. First single: Ancient Rolling Sea *Quantities true at time of posting.
