as far as i know, Jelly's is the real record shop left in Oahu. i know there are/were some CD shops near the South Shore. Jelly's isn't all that great but it's definitely worth a visit if vinyl ISN'T all your looking for. You might find some CD gems. i was there just when Tower announced that they were going out of business so i got some pretty cool CDs for super cheap.

fyi on that auction (don't know if you care or not) but the 7" came with an individually numbered sticker on the cover. it doesn't look like there's one on that one.

i pretty much have everything that's commercially available-- In addition to Agaetis Byrjun and Ny Batteri there's Svefn G Englar 12" on Fat Cat Hoppipolla 7" EMI Saeglopur 12" EMI the In a Frozen 7xLP box set there's also a super rare green vinyl white label 12" for the Von Brigodi remix album. good luck finding it though. for completists there's also the Seoul 12" single by Amiina (SR's female string quartet) that has an exclusive remix by Frakkur (aka Jonsi from Sigur Ros) as well as a few 7" singles from the Album Leaf that feature Jonsi

i usually get packages from places/people who know how to securely pack records so i hardly ever get records/covers damaged while in transit. and the few times i do get damaged records, the place i ordered them from usually have no problem replacing the records. so, no, i don't get too nervous when opening records.

the box set that came out a few years back (with Kill, Lightning, Master, Garage Days, Creeping Death and Justice) sounds pretty good. i'll stick with that.
