that's weird because the colored vinyl press was exclusive to mail order. i guess it depends on if you ordered before they sold out of them.

hopefully this isn't threadjack -- for the people who do have this, were any of the records warped? i bought two different copies back when it was first released and both had warped records. the guy at the shop said they had gotten several returns because the records were warped. needless to say, i returned both copies.

AFAIK, they're all triple 7"s. it was actually supposed to be a 10" split e.p. i have some old promo postcards that showed this. i guess they decided to do a different format.

they have all of those on their current tour. except the slipmat, which i totally would have picked up if i saw it. i'm still waiting for my white vinyl self-titled so hopefully i get some posters for free with it.

awesome, could you take a picture of the repress? also, what color on gold was the silkscreen cover? i don't know what the cover/vinyl variants were. i just asked the merch guy what vinyl colors they had for Young Mountain and chose the one that I didn't have (the white one). I previously had the gold vinyl with the hand-screened cover. i won't be able to take any pics until i get back to my apt on monday.

just got back from the show they had the following merch available 3 different shirts for $15 each Young Mountain on vinyl on gold, black and white (which i believe might be a second pressing because it didn't look like a silkscreened cover) -- all at $15 each This Will Destroy You on red and blue -- both $15 each both CDs for $10 and some collab CD between one of the guys in TWDY and Brent Eyestone i got the blue TWDY and the white Young Mountain.

according to Brent at Magic Bullet, they have the blue and red versions of the album.

If you ever run across any of that stuff at a reasonable price, pick it up for me and I'll buy or trade for them. sure, no prob. i've been lucky to find most of my Ash LPs used and for under $15 (except Intergalactic Sonic 7"s, which I bought new but was totally worth the price). i'm sure TOTI is gonna sit on the rack until Amoeba marks it down. when/if it does, i'll let you know. incidentally, do you have any interest in Charlotte Hatherley's (their ex-guitarist) solo stuff?

yeah it's an import. i actually got my TOTI for $5 from the Virgin Megastore that closed down here because I switched price tags and the person at the counter didn't notice the big price decrease. Ha ha ha. In all honesty though, $30 is a bit pricey. That's why I didn't buy it at Amoeba. But it's your call. I'll get it if you want. Let me know by 5pm PST because I won't have access to the internet after that. I'm hitting up Amoeba right after I get outta work.

the Amoeba in L.A. has a copy of Ash - Twilight of the Innocents for the rip off price of $30. i can get it for you if you want but it's gonna be like $36 total incl shipping and Paypal fees. (stupid paypal).

speaking of shaped (picture) discs

is that Pumpkins record a reissue of some sort? the original was individually numbered with a white box on the front cover with the number in it. there were unnumbered versions too but the white box was still on the front cover. i don't see a white box at all on that ebay auction.
