I did had something sell out while placing my order - maybe you have an OOS item on order?It said it was a "successful transaction" and never showed anything being OOS but that would make sense for the delay. Hopefully it ships sometime early next week or else I will message and see what is going on. Good to hear they package things well though since I was also wondering about that.

Got extremely lucky on getting the Home Alone soundtrack for only 18 and being one of the few that got the red Natural Born Killers mov edition from that Popmarket sale.

You were right, they were a band that traveled with the forever classic "D.A.R.E" campaign to schools and sang about healthy food, bad drugs and safe sex. Mostly known for there short lived hit single with Nancy Reagan on lead vocals called "Just Say NO!".
Then you have "Penny Lane" who is the clown from the classic horror movie and that is nothing more then a novelty album kind of like the one where Freddy rapped. Awesome cover art though!
Very interesting mix of albums to ask about but I would say to the right buyer you could probably get some solid monies for sure.

haha I have a feeling not only is it going to be awful sound quality which is plainly obvious from the get go but the tracks will probably be crazy inconsistent volume and eq wise.
Could have been kind of cool if they worked closely with the actual artists and got the original sources then had someone that knows how to mix an album put the tracks all together. That way some of these new/lesser known artists could at least get a decent little kick back from it.

Was excited to see this being releases since I just barely got into the show but that is def. a bit steep for me as well.. If the art print blew me away I could maybe justify it but it doesnt..
awesome release though, hopefully I see this somewhere in the future for a bit of a better deal and I will be all over it.

Been awhile since I posted in here so here is a couple of the records that I have gotten lately.
BTW - If anyone is interested in that Mumford & Sons tin box set let me know, I picked it up as an extra in a big purchase and just not really much of a fan. It only has four of the six singles but everything there is in like new condition.

I was a member for 3 months but took this month off until the avalanches album drops soon so I do not know how many are in there right now but they have a decent selection of exclusives every month, all the backlog of albums of the month that have not sold out yet and then some general releases sprinkled in.. they also have a sale section but most things in there go pretty quick it seems. If I had to guess though I would say a good 40-50 seem to usually be available anytime I was browsing.
You can look back through this thread and people post the upcoming releases for the store as well.

it is a shipping charge more then anything.. that $6 fee allows you to buy unlimited records and not worry about anymore shipping being added on.

Bait and switch means you bought something and received something different..,this doesn't apply in this case.
that's exactly the case.. tons of people bought it right when it came out without waiting to see prices of other sites because they made it "very limited to only 2k" which is the oldest trick in the book to help scare the consumer into rushing to buy it so they will not "lose out". you can't say something is super limited and when it sells out you double the number "because you felt bad for the fans" then when those sell out just stop talking about it altogether and let it go on for a week or two. other artists would be getting blasted as well if they pulled that shit.. the very reason we payed the premium was for an autographed limited release, now he sold so many he can't even make out an autograph with literally 1 letter legible on many of the sold units.
We have seen the signatures, the ones that people are getting with the cd is exactly what the people who bought the record are getting, why would it be any different other then the card stock being the size of the record instead of a cd? if it is any different that is even worse screwing over the people who bought the cd then. idk if you have seen some of the sigs from the cds but several of them are literally just a scribble, not even a k or anything legible...
I am not going to just keep going back and forth, this isn't even funny anymore. if you are still cool paying twice the price for what you get then that is awesome. Me along with many others were not so we decided to save half our money and buy it later on.. simple as that really...

probably because he set it as a limited release of 2k then changed it to 4k then took that "limited" number off.. finally after a super long time they took it down only to re-open it recently AGAIN even though they were already weeks behind on shipping to all the people that already ordered it months ago. Between the record and the cd release that is probably over 10k signatures. so I would say there is a good chance he is having someone helping him, it might not be rare for musicians to do signings but it is pretty rare at this high of a number. even if not though for 35, you get a basic 1lp release with a very bland insert that has a "k" scribbled on it. All that while it is already 10 dollars cheaper, readily available and will probably be 15-20+ cheaper easily in the future if you wait a bit. If the whole situation was not handled so unprofessionally I would have been fine with it but I am glad I was able to get out and spend that extra money somewhere else. at least that is my reason.
nothing wrong if you want to stick with it but there is no question this entire release was handled pretty damn bad from the very beginning.
