videodrome_1138 got a reaction from Le Gogh in Video Game OSTs v2.0
Saw this Mondo's twitter. Looks like Super Castlevania IV will be 2LP and this might be the cover art

videodrome_1138 got a reaction from Monastic_mike in Halloween Party Records
Oh yeah, how could I forget https://www.discogs.com/Vic-Mizzy-Original-Music-From-The-Addams-Family/master/411830
It's a great Addam's Family album and it recently had a reissue that is cheaper than an original. Hope some of my suggestions helped you out!

Also, there is this pretty cheap German disco album that's a tribute to John Carpenter themes. How could you not love a dancy version of the Halloween theme?

Also, to tide you over until you get some of those records this website http://www.aquariumdrunkard.com has made some amazing free mixtapes of old halloween/horror music. The comps are called Trick or Treat. I think they're up to volume 9 and each one is well over an hour long. There are some great and rare songs on them. I listen to them year round.

Coming up in October, Waxwork Records is releasing the soundtrack to Mad Monster Party, which would be a fun addition.
There are a few comps out there that are bunch of rare 50s, 60s and 70s horror songs.
https://www.discogs.com/Various-Its-A-Monster-Bash-Party-Vol1/release/4950156
https://www.discogs.com/Various-Ghouls-Night-Out-Volume-1/master/617807
https://www.discogs.com/Various-Ghouls-Night-Out-Volume-2/master/679530
I saw someone recommended the Frankie Stein records and also the Ghouls (which I couldn't recommended enough, especially the Ghouls).
This is one of my favorite 45s that I own, it's a promo 45 put out by this horror host in Syracuse New York named Baron Daemon. https://www.discogs.com/Baron-Daemon-The-Vampires-The-Transylvania-Twist-Ghost-Guitars/release/6387861The two songs are so amazing. It's kinda pricey but well worth it.
This Munsters album is another great Halloween album if you can get your hands on one. https://www.discogs.com/Munsters-The-Munsters/release/3997698
This is also one of my personal favorites. https://www.discogs.com/Wade-Denning-With-Kay-Lande-Halloween/master/674354
It's Wade Dennings and Kay Lande, who put out other kid records way back when. Again, it is kinda pricey but I've definitely seen it in cheap bins. I think people see the record and assume it's garbage. The song Halloween Dance is so fun and catchy. You can check it out here

videodrome_1138 got a reaction from freedumb in The Scabs - Amory Building (1979 UK punk reissue)
You might have already seen my comment on Reddit, but I'll have to say it again, thanks for a much needed reissue!
After years of looking, I finally got an original for an amazingly low price, but will more than likely pick this one up.
I always get people asking what it is when I DJ some of their songs, mostly U.R.E. and Don't Just Sit There. It'll be nice to direct people your way as an affordable way to get it.

videodrome_1138 got a reaction from GhostTrail in Fuckin' USPS' Network Distribution Centers: the thread.
As I'm sure members who live in Chicago can agree with this statement, seriously FUCK the Chicago Metro Hub.
I have a package with two records that I have rarely seen for sale coming from Japan. It's been roughly 27 days since they first shipped. About 17 of those days are days where my package went MIA in that black hole at the Metro Hub.
It's been very frustrating since the lady who I spoke with, who also rarely answers their phone or returns messages, basically said they're gone unless they randomly get scanned somewhere.
Guess we'll see what happens.
Such a bummer

videodrome_1138 got a reaction from hammertime in The Mondo Records Thread - You think limited? Will sell fast?
My Gillman variant from Norman records came in today. Although I'm normally not one to collect multiple variants of records, I couldn't help myself with the Monster Squad 7"s. I love this movie too much. The complete set looks great together!

videodrome_1138 got a reaction from andrewlucas in WAXWORKS RECORDS Official Mega-Thread
When I was at Mondocon this past year I chatted with Kevin about the Babadook and he said at that time they had just started work on it. He also said they didn't have an artist yet to do the cover but said they wanted to probably have Jessica Seamans, who did the Nosferatu art, do it. So probably won't be seeing it for a few months.
