Yeah wouldn't go near anything Judd touches, I'm sure it will be fine, although there have been some similar marketing strategies on social media to some of his infamous schemes... If as claimed he has only employee level involvement I'm not sure why the label would be letting him promote the releases, it taints their reputation...

So they should've done the 4lp boxset as a limited of like 200 and the mix 2lp 500 on black, 250 on 2 different colour variants... possibly makes more sense... I can see why they have done it this way though the 2 albums are meant to exist individually as wholes and together as a whole, and if you buy the box you get an extra lp...

I find it hard to support artists that have views I oppose or have done abhorrent things. I won't even listen to Nachtmystium any more, Inquisition are an interesting one too... I can't really listen to anything remotely pro any religion either. Some of the things in the article are pretty off the mark though (I only skimmed it) e.g. putting Charlie Fell in with McSorley... Dragging up homophobic slurs frpm the past is a little rough not saying they are right or should be used at all but when I was a kid calling someone a faggot was standard on the playground as embarassing as it is to think this maybe relates more to the McCoy sotuation... not defending McSorley at all and glad he is no longer associated with Cobalt as this allows me to still be interested in what they do...

I don't think any of the stuff they're repressed has been that over priced, some of the test presses on the other hand... However I like that they are giving people access to buy some of this stuff if they really want it maybe ebay would've been the better place for that stuff though... looking at what they have up on there now there's still bargains e.g. Discordance Axis 2LP's for $8, Oceanic Remixes 2LP for $10...

This is strange, the sticker on the version I have states it is the final pressing.... its not like its that hard to get a copy either

Really liked Lawless Darkness, found they're last album pretty meh though, single LP all short tracks may mean I'm not gonna dig this so much either as I was more into the longer epic tracks... will give the track a listen though. 'box set' for essentially a single LP seems a little ridiculous

Grabbed a green The Beyond, finally got a most limited variant of a CoL reissue! I saw them twice on tour for this album as support for Poison the Well in the UK on the you came before you tour. One show had thrice playing between the two before they blew up just after the artist and the ambulance was released... Venue must have been about 400 cap. A month later saw thrice again, sold out a 1200 cap venue as headliners lol
