This is still planned. UMG confirmed it with an announcement of a new deal working with the Bowie estate. Apparently a stand alone release of the unreleased Toy LP is also planned. Apparently reviewers have official copies.

I want to know if there is drama with the original album art. Billy seems adamant about not using it.

If it’s not a boot, it most likely won’t be repressed. Billy stopped a repress last year. Pretty sure he wants the next pressing to be the new version. he said it’s in the labels hands now and he is no idea of their timeline.

I think the single mix is a better version. Wish they put the big drums on this version.

The blue vinyl color is really cool. Kinda a silvery purple blue. Its probably as close as they could get to the color of the original CD tray liner (if you have that).

Just to confirm, the new LAGWFIS is the exact same cut as the VMP pressing. Even has "VMP" noted in the deadwax.

But to be clear, the 360 page book is NOT included in the Cream vinyl edition. Just a 36 page version. Not much bigger than the OKNOTOK version.

I think he's trying to say the standard version is over priced (Its a 3 x direct to board wide spined sleeve, like OKNOTOK - which I believe was about $40 on blue vinyl), but they put enough work into the deluxe to make it worth the cost. If its a book like OKNOTOK and AMSP, I'd agree.

I assume that HMV with alt cover 2 will be the Target variant. They did the same thing for Chemtrails.
