  1. Signed up for a Target CC just so I can use the one time discount to get this cheaper.
  2. Very cool. Mine had made in Canada printed on the plastic. From her store. so weird.
  3. The spine is thicker, yes. Standard direct to board sleeve triple though. Target was pressed in France. Her store version was pressed by CZ N.A. In Canada.
  4. Except for Big Bad Brad Olsen. I don’t care about Amy Grant but I want to read everything that dude has to say about her from his parents basement.
  5. But I also try to keep my Hoff browsing to a minimum because I want to still like music as I get older.
  6. I think her Republic LPs were cut much better than her Big Machine LPs. But yeah, they aren’t phenomenal. but this is just as bad as the BM cuts.
  7. Ok, tried Lp2 and then compared it to how Lover, Folk/Evermore were cut and those sound way better. My guess is they tried to cram too much on 3LPs. Hopefully Red will be done better (despite having 3 more tracks) over 4 LPs.
  8. So far, I’d say it’s just OK. I only spun the first LP. Kinda thin in sound with some sibilance.
  9. Comparison with a gold record I know was advertised as gold (oh sees - The Drop). so slight difference, but there is a shimmer to hers, just not as shimmering as a “gold” pressing.
  10. Just arrived. Fine enough. Wish there were inserts for lyrics or at least picture sleeves. Basic direct to board sleeve, triple foldout. They must have taken the CD booklet pages for the inner gatefold and crammed everything on those 3 fold outs. Its very packed. Vinyl is gold, not tan.
  11. So, maybe today? The Youve Got A Habit of Leaving (Toy version) video was uploaded to YouTube earlier this morning.
  12. Are they picture discs? If so, definitely camp. Possibly give up Thanksgiving dinner to get that place in line.
  13. Devonshire mixes (Vig's mix) were on the 20th anniversary box set (along with the boombox demos and some BBC stuff and a live show). Those have never been pressed. Boom box demos were on the 4LP version of the 20th anniversary set. BBC stuff is on that set and the live show had a standalone pressing. The Spring 1990 attempt at Nevermind (thats where the SP In Bloom is from, correct?) has never been released.
  14. I mean, idk what else is out there after the Kurt demos record and Sliver. I don’t think a box set of shows is a terrible idea, it just has a very limited fan base.
  15. https://shop.nirvana.com/collections/vinyl/products/nevermind-official-8lp-super-deluxe ships next may. $260
  16. They have to be announcing it this week if all this info is starting to trickle out.
  17. Its called Brilliant Adventure 1992-2001 Black Tie White Noise (1993) The Buddha of Suburbia (1993) Outside (1995) Earthling (1997) Hours (1999) Its unknown if Toy is included or if its separate. My guess is, its included.
