stay here: http://www.thehighlandinn.com/ its pretty reasonable and right in the middle of the virginia highlands...tons of restaurants, bars, shopping...etc you can walk to the masquerade(about a mile walk..its really not bad), criminal records and little five points. I've stayed here for numerous shows at the earl and the masquerade. the only thing is i'm not sure what the public transportation is like to get there from the airport. it's not super fancy but it's clean the the folks who work there are friendly and the neighborhood is unbeatable also if you're into beer, the porter in little five is a must as well

i did indeed look at the website and all i gathered is that they pressed a cat stevens album and some jazz stuff. that's great and all but i was curious to know if anyone here had any personal experience before i possibly shelled out $50 bucks.

went ahead and got the pink, the reasonable shipping swayed me. i love azure ray but i didn't really get into the last one so much....new song sounds great!

some of my favorites are blue bottle, ninth street espresso, larry's beans, intelligensia, jittery joe's and reanimator. all very good but i don't really have any advice for a more budget friendly option. if you try coffeebean.com let me know how it is!

which coffee shop was it? counter culture carries a really good yirgacheffe most of the time. never had any experience with coffeebean.com so i can' t really speak to their quality.

pretty sweet you can by the colored vinyl individually with all having to get a bunch of shit you probably don't need in a bundle. hope they keep doing this.

i love that its just acoustic. i think live records can tend to get muddled sounding with a full band. These sound INCREDIBLE. oslo is by far my favorite show so far. how about y'all?

nice! i was slightly bummed to start out with all that surface noise, but i'll get over it just thankful to have it, i will treasure this thing forever!
