  1. Nice!!! That sucks that the other guy in this thread got dicked, though. Glad it worked out for someone. I've never had that luck with them, but fortunately (knock on wood) I've had limited problems with Relapse over the 15+ years I've been ordering with them. I was definitely sweating bullets when I opened the box last night, but was relieved to see the box and the /500. Both are extremely nice pressings. It makes me kick myself for not ordering the boxes on Leprosy and Spiritual Healing.
  2. Prepare to be pissed. It sucks, but when Relapse makes a mistake like that and the variant you bought is sold out, you're SOL. Obviously, it doesn't make sense b/c they should have the extras they didn't ship, but the few times its happened to me over the years, I've received the same answer / results.
  3. Someone pissed me off at work, so I took my angst out here. Sorry guys! Don't want to be another internet doucher.
  4. What are you, his mother or something? Why does this dude have to explain to you why he wants multiple variants of the new Metallica record? Why do you have multiple variants of album XYZ so we can question your decision making and how you spend your money.
  5. Sweet, glad you got yours to finally work. It was definitely being wonky. At least both MetClub and the website hosting the payment process wrote me back. On a side note, I'm not really feeling that new song as much as the other 2. I think it's going to be a solid effort, though.
  6. They're charging cards for PO's. I received a new debit card, so when they went to run my payment, it didn't work. Fortunately I was finally able to update the info and I was charged. Fingers crossed. New song "Atlas Rise" is now streaming.
  7. @Satan Try updating your card again. It finally worked for me, so I'm assuming they fixed the issue.
  8. I received 1 response, they asked what browser I was using. I told them the 2 different browsers I have tried with no success, and haven't heard back. Who knows, hopefully I can get this resolved. I'm digging the new songs and would be bummed to lose out on the green.
  9. Mine failed too, but it's because I received a new card. I tried updating it online but when I enter all the new info and hit update, nothing happens. I e-mailed them, someone already e-mailed me back, so hopefully I can get it resolved.
  10. Or, you could stop ordering records and then an hour later change your mind and cancel. They would be better off not having to deal with "customers" like yourself who can't commit to something they ordered less than an hour ago. The site is great. Create a feature that stops idiots like the one above from ordering so you can focus on more important things and you'll really have something great on your hands
  11. Ahhhh, the high and mighty bleeding heart VC response I was hoping for. Not going to give you the internet fight you're looking for because you're not worth my time. We both know you would have done the same and you're just being a jealous sack of shit Cheers!
  12. I went to look at a collection this evening, it was probably 500 records. Everything was 70's / 80's disco, funk, soul, and rock. Your typical generic collection. Most of it was in mediocre shape too. I couldn't believe it when I pulled a sealed original pressing of Pearl Jam - VS. I passed on buying the collection, but offered the guy $10 for the copy of VS. He said yes

  14. Listened to this record and then then new NOFX record. New Green Day sucks, NOFX rules.
  15. I received that a few months ago. Who knows. I doubt it's another box set, but if it is, that would be a sweet surprise.
  16. I just got another e-mail with a ship confirmation for the box set. Did anyone else get one? I assume it's a glitch, but has a different tracking # from my first box set shipment back in May.
  17. You are correct, T-Swift is not on sale. I went today, they had quite a few selections. I took T-Swift up b/c it was in the sale area, but rang up at normal price so I put it back. The UO I went to also had Killer Mike, but it rang up at $9.99. I was pretty bummed about that, but $9.99 is still a solid deal.
  18. Another new track premiered today. Not sure it's something I would go back to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=HC1CnedRshU
  19. https://metallica.com/blog/news/433809/track-two-moth-into-flame New song. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  20. PO's today are really starting to hammer on the ol' wallet. Both options sound sick! http://whores.bigcartel.com/product/gold-vinyl
  21. I think it's a solid show. It is typically held 2 times a year, once in the winter, usually late January / early February, and then again around this time of year. This is the first time it has been held at Howard Theatre, most of the previous shows were at Penn Social. The last winter show was bumpin'!!! I have sold and bought at the show. This time I'll be far more focused on selling. That being said, it is a great buying show. You can find stuff from all genres, both old and new. If you're a serious collector, I recommend paying the extra money for the early bird. It's definitely worth hitting up, I always walk away with some solid finds. For the Richmond folks here, there is also going to be a show down at Hardywood Brewery on 10/23. I will be selling at that one as well. Last time I went earlier in the year I was just there to buy and walked away with some killer stuff at solid prices. Plus, it's a record show at a brewery, how can you go wrong? Here's the info on that show: Hardywood Brewery 2408-2410 Ownby Ln, Richmond, VA 23220 11am - 5pm Free!!!! (at least it was last time, and I think this time it is too) VINYL CONFLICT + STEADY SOUNDS PRESENTS VG MINUS returns this fall to Hardywood for its third installment! Expect to see some new vendors this time as well as some of your previous favorites! Get ready for some serious digging as we will have 30+ tables to check out, hardywood will have all your favorites on tap and there will be some excellent local food trucks present! TABLES ARE NOW AVAILABLE! Please EMAIL us if you are interested at: [email protected]
