Maaan, too bad you weren't in Baltimore, MD back in September because EITS played 4 shows, one being in this old church in bmore. I live 90 minutes away, but tickets were $13! The shit sold out and they only had one opening band which was okay, but the place honestly wasn't even full, so my buddy and I got right up in front and literally ate the stage. It was so extraordinary... every song was amazing and they did play three new songs which were perfect. The only shitty thing was that the two "rows" (us and the people behind) actually knew evveeeryy single song, so we were all into it and we all almost collapsed at the very end when the finished "The Only Moment We Were Alone", but evveerryyyone else seemed to have no idea what was going on! I talked to Munaf waaay after the show and he said they'll soon be releasing information on their next album, so there will be a full on North American tour in 2011. So you just sit tight! i cant wait. also, i passed up a free phish ticket a few weeks ago, then regretted it a few days later. i used to listen to em a lot after they broke up in 04, and thought i had grew out of it by the time they reunited last year until i heard a few soundboard recordings from 2010, they sound great.

one time i stood outside of an american legion hall that the ergs were playing at and smoked cigarettes and drank a 40 rather than go inside and watch them. wish i could've given you my spot man! as far as this thread goes: furthur (will happen) explosions in the sky (if they actually tour, haven't seen em since '07) primus, or even just a claypool show and this is almost embarrassing to say, but i'm thinking about trying to catch a phish show.

its gonna be way more than 6 hours, haha. it already got approved for a 2nd season, and the dude is still writing comics for the story. the introduction before the first one says he wants the story of rick to never end, because he feels like most zombie movies just end, not letting you know where the characters end up, blah blah blah.

probably because they added 4 random unnecessary extra characters. there's already a lot of characters to begin with, but sheesh. i feel like im nitpicking because i thought the comics were so good just as they were, and overall the show is great, but little things bug me. for one, i dislike the fact that andrea (one of my favorite characters) was cast as 10 or so years older than she was in the comics, which will take some of the tension away from her relationship with dale. and the fact that lori is now a major slut, instead of just having a regrettable 'one night stand' with shane that she's ashamed of. i'm just hoping that some of these extra characters die before they get out of the city for my memories sake, i had a hard enough time too while reading the comics remembering who was who, get rid of the extras.

don't understand this thought process. i bet there are a couple thousand people who think exactly that and if they just got off their asses and voted, it might make a difference. and for the record this election season has really pissed me off. nothing but negative ad campaigns and statements to the press. we should demand more substance from our politicians instead of them needing to resort to name-calling to garner votes from impressionable minds. so shitty. that's not really my reasoning for not voting, just doesn't hurt the situation.

seizures are some scary shit. when i was going to school in boston, this dude was driving and had one, and drove right into the front of a restaurant that was attached to my dorm, while i was standing 20 ft away smoking a cig. somehow no one got hurt, but he drove right through the outdoor seating area and crashed into the store front wall. luckily it was winter, because otherwise there were always people sitting outside there.

i'm not sure if i'm actually getting bored with music, because i'm still listening to it all the time, but i do find myself paying attention to the music world less. some of my favorite bands have come out with new albums that i didn't even know were coming out. just looking at that list, i had no idea there were new off with their heads and end of a year albums out.

made it 2 semesters at Northeastern University in boston, for civil engineering. left because of bad grades, and the fact that i couldn't justify spending that much a year if i wasn't sure thats what i wanted to go to school for. made it 2 semesters at Springfield Technical CC for mathematics/education. left because i realized that i absolutely despise the concept of school now, and gen eds were kicking my ass (3 F's between those 4 semesters in college writing 1). graduated 11th in my high school class of ~300, with a 3.8, and now i'm a union laborer, and i absolutely love my job.
