But apparently not when it comes to the Old Canes. I'm still waiting on those 7 inches I contributed towards years ago on Kickstarter. Chris is a thief as far as I'm concerned.
He’ll hook you up with show tickets to compensate if you ask. Not the same but nice gesture.

This album has really grown on me over the last several days. Gets better and better with every listen. I think the short film really enriches the experience—it’s beautiful. Finally got my clear record today, and I’m excited to sit down with the lyric book.

I am a long-time Johnny Jewel / Chromatics / IDIB fan . I'm really pissed and want to warn others.
IDIB are using the DMCA Anti-Copyright Act to take down all live concert videos from the current IDIB / Chromatics / Desire tour from YouTube. Every night a dozen or more songs are posted to YouTube by fans from the concert, and every day the videos are removed at the request of IDIB claiming copyright infringement. (Normally, YouTube concert videos are considered 'fair use' and so IDIB are abusing the system when they take down legally uploaded concert videos. I do not know their reason. )
I am warning people because if you receive 3 takedowns then your YouTube channel is blocked and all your videos will be removed as well. IDIB have taken down my Chromatics videos from their recent California concert. IDIB are not responding to my written communications as they are required to, but I am still in jeopardy in losing my YouTube posting privileges (and even my .gmail account). My Google / YouTube account is in jeopardy.
The consequences seem a bit harsh there. Good thing you didn't post 3 videos.

Idk, looks white and gold to me.

I grabbed a copy on Saturday. Pretty cool that it got pressed.

And possibly more excited by a tour!
That’s a fact—Dredg has always been really good live. Their drummer is so fun to watch.

I’m not doing eBay. I’m gonna hold strong. I heard a rumore that some stores expect it Monday cause their order was delayed. Not sure if that runout is true. Fingers crossed
Call Finders Records (number above), they’ve hooked up a couple of us already. Shipping was $10, but still cost + tax + shipping.

Man, I sure hope that one dude was able to call so they could order a copy.
I just did! 😂
Thanks @thesecrets0308 !!!! They're probably wondering why they just got a random mail-order call from TX.

The store I went to yesterday had about 5 of them from what I remember, just wasn't something I was looking to snag.
Just now, armadillo01 said:Nope, a store here in town had a half-dozen at noon yesterday.
Do either one of these shops do mail-order?

Any leads on Lost in Translation? /8000, but it still seems like this one is going to be a pain to find...

Been getting my ass kicked, haha. I haven't had too much time to really devote to it just yet, I'm only a couple of bosses in (first area or two still).
I'll say, the prosthetics are cool, and I like that there are a decent number of them - but they are nowhere near as cool as the BB weapons, which makes me wish there were a little more RPG elements involved.. using a single Katana the whole game is kind of meh, imo. At the very least they could have done something like the KH route where weapon differences are largely cosmetic and maybe a tiny stat boost here or there for different ones. But boring when there's no drops and 9 out of ten of the items on the ground you try to kill yourself to grab are fucking ceramic shards lol.
I'm also just NOT into the setting or themes at all. Samurai/ninja shit does less than 0 for me. To each his own, I know a lot of people are into that - but the dark graveyard medieval/fantasy feel of Dark Souls or the gothic lovecraftian setting of Bloodborne are so much more interesting to me.
Still - I always enjoy a From game, and will git gud soon enough I am sure.
Cool, I was hoping you’d dig it. I agree about the prosthetics. There have only been a couple that I’ve found handy. And the lack of drops is a bummer—I miss finding cool armor and weapons. I’ve got loads of inventory that I’ll probably never use. The combat learning curve is no joke. Everytime I’ve felt comfortable-ish with it, the difficulty spikes again.

There's one boss that was really the turning point for me, and the combat has clicked a lot better since. Was stuck for hours though. I think the things I miss the most are the weird community shenanigans and FashionSouls.
Really wanna know what @rooks & (impossible to tag) @✦ S U N S H I N E ✦ 日 光 ♡♡ think. It's a pretty huge departure from what made DS great.

New Pirate Ship Quintet is probably the freshest post-rock record I’ve heard in years. On top of the A+ melancholic strings you’ve come to love and expect from them, they’ve managed to tie in some hauntingly gorgeous vocals, saxophone, stellar bass grooves... a bit of everything, really. Your mileage may vary, but for me, Emitter is a shimmery beacon that glistens in a sea of mundane modern post-rock.
Haven’t ever listened, should probably get on that.

Bump for Sekiro hype. This game is kicking the shit out of me. Really want to hear what everyone else thinks.

Sekiro is really fun so far. Very different though. It’s weird not having a stamina bar or skill points to distribute over various attributes.
It’s really hard. I haven’t quite gotten the combat down for the mini-bosses. Got through 3 of them, but not easily.

Anyone getting Sekiro tonight? Pre-loading on steam right now and I couldn't be more excited to get my ass handed to me.
my collectors edition arrived earlier. can't wait to start it once the kids go to bed.

VIII is really solid but it’s probably the most grounded. From the sprites to the art style, you can tell they were taking a very different “fantasy” angle than your traditional mages, orcs, dragons, etc. Haven’t played it in a couple of decades – goddamn I’m old – but I recall my biggest qualm being the way stats, magic, and leveling were set up. Still worth experiencing and playing through.
I thought the junction system was interesting, but the learning curve was quite steep. I remember not really grasping it all that well on my first playthrough and then having a much easier time on my second. I honestly don't know how I cleared the game on my first playthrough. That last disc was roughhhh after barely scraping by the last boss on Disc 3. I'll never forget, phoenix pinion saved my ass on the final boss--I was yelling at the TV. Parents were not happy. Goddamn I'm old too.

I don't think I could pick a favorite between them all. FFVII is probably the most important for me because it's the first JRPG that I'd played (not counting Super Mario RPG or Pokémon). I love IV and VI w/ the old sprite animation. Vivi from IX is one of my favorite FF characters and that subplot is sooo good...

Hotel Neon double vinyl albums are $10 each right now on their bandcamp
Thanks for the heads up. I saw these guys open for Lowercase Noises and had meant to get some of their stuff, but never did.

Been waiting on that Dunn for a while. I scoff at $30 double LPs, so $60 quadruple LPs are just as rough. But /200? That’s tempting. I’ll probably cave like a fool later today. I keep his discography on pretty steady rotation year round and definitely welcome a new release of that magnitude.
You know you can't pass up KBD vinyl. (I couldn't)
