I'm totally kidding. But you could pull it off in Buffalo, NY. My mortgage is roughing $1800 a month and I live in a nice area. I have a 30 year on a 320k house that I put about 100k down on when I bought it. I've never directly asked my mom but I'd image hers is around $600-$700 a month. The house I grew up in would probably sell today for 100-110k. 1500 sq feet or so. Not a bad neighborhood, but not really a good one. Just run down suburbs of Buffalo. You move to the east side of Buffalo, I guarantee you could cut the payment down to a lot less than $500. Buffalo is pretty awesome. It's cheap to live, the job market is just trash. My wife works remote for a company based on out Boston, so we live on a Boston salary on Buffalo cost of living. It's pretty sweet haha.

haha I heard that was about the same price as a mortgage payment. Thankfully I'm not the biggest Mars Volta fan so I wasn't following that one. I fuck with like one of two at the drive-in LPs and that's enough for me to get my rocks off.

Here's a recap of my day: 7:30am - A Wilhelm Scream - Woke up to a notification email that those represses went live during the night instead of what was expected to be 10:00am. Scrambled to my computer to get those. 11:00am - Saves the Day - Easy peasy. On to the next. 11:15am - State Lines - Got the Counter Intuitive newsletter that they had 50 copies of the State Lines record they were giving away for free to anyone who ordered the other state lines record they repressed. I own copies of both these already, but whatever, $15 for 2 records I love, I'll variant chase at that point. 1:00pm - Yellowcard - Had somewhere to be at 1:30 so I was driving. Pulled off the highway into a parking lot at 12:55 to fuck around on my phone for the drop. Internet connection sucked, website crashed, missed out. 2:00 - The Lawrence Arms - Had to order both the single colored LP and the shirt bundle, you know cause Fat is sneaky like that. Some might say (my wife) that I have a problem. I'm just hoping I can make it until dinner with out having to spend another $100 dollars.

Yeah me neither unfortunately. Just convinced my mom to order me a 3XL Vandals T-shirts (I'm 140 lbs now, so I was probably around 110 back then) to go with my JNCO jeans as part of our "school clothes shopping" haha. -

Oh you're talking about ordering from one of these bad boys: https://imgur.com/a/3JhS1WC (sorry I don't know how to post photos here) I love how vinyl is cheaper than CDs! For some reason I hung onto all these in a folder. I've got Fat, Nitro, Punkcore, A-F records, and a few more. -

It's gone now. My memory is a little spotty but didn't colored and black used to be the same price. And then is was like $10/12 and $12/14. I miss that lol. -

TP/PO: A Wilhelm Scream "Mute Print" LP (a Vinyl C

That's the same for discogs, limited run, etc. Bummer. I guess better to overcharge than undercharge, but $19 bucks for a package that will likely cost $5-6. That sucks. Maybe we'll see a small refund, but I doubt it. -

Damn. Always a bummer. Usually I see 1 off self released 7" by the bands. But after shipping and tax 2 7" comes to $30-$40 bucks total, so I always end up passing. -

Why is shipping on bandcamp always outrageous. It seems like it doesn't calculate correctly when buying multiple records. I grabbed 2 of each, 6 LPs, $19 shipping? First time I've actually committed to ordering off bandcamp after seeing the shipping price. Either way, happy to finally own these. -
Why does everyone think this is going to be such a blood bath? Boys Night Out went over fine. Yeah sure Saves the Day has more fans, but if it goes anything like the first few releases this label did should be pretty smooth. Just be on 5 minutes early, refreshing, and you should be good. I'd image the 200 will last a minute or two, especially if they're limiting it to one per cart.

Are there any details for this preorder yet? Time, pressing numbers, etc? Really hoping it doesn't overlap with Saves The Day tomorrow (11am EST). -
I never knew Alamo Drafthouse and Mondo were connected. I've listen to a weekly horror podcast for the past decade or so and all the guys on there have great things to say about it. Unfortunately there aren't any in my area so I've never been. Also a bummer to hear they treat their employees like dog shit. That's not cool.

I agree. I was just making the comparison since all 3 are bands I was super into. Very excited for all 3 releases. Road my bike/drove my first car to my local shop to buy the CD on opening day, and was extremely let down. All 3 albums have grown on me. Idk if my tastes have changed, or my expectations are just lowered since all 3 bands went down such a slope that I've accepted these "turning" albums as the last decent album they released. Fuck all this nonsense talk. I'm going back to my mom's basement to jam the All Hallow's EP + Dude Ranch. Somebody hit me up on my pager when this preorder is live.
