  1. International are starting to go this week, US will go out next week. Shooting for arrival on release date. All pre-orders also come with digital downloads that should arrive the morning of 3/5 (maybe earlier!) as well
  2. Playing catch up, we've premiered four of the songs from this record so far. Check them all out:
  3. Man, a shitton of people with 0 posts and 0 reading comprehension messages me about stuff while I was out on tour. I'm back now. Hit me up if you're interested in anything here.
  4. Merch, photos, maintain his websites, send newsletters, some day-to-day management stuff, tour promo
  5. I'll definitely have a tour poster. Design is being finalized now. I SHOULD be carrying vinyl copies of Golden Age, Hello Starling, Animal Years, So Runs the World Away, Bringing in the Darlings, and The Beast in Its Tracks. I know stock is low on a few things. Trying to get more titles pressed (on both CD and LP) to restock our webstore and record stores. There will also be some other fun merch I'm working on. See you there!
  6. So nice meeting you, man! What a surprise! Josh also said I was foxy in a "woodland creature sort of way". Last night he told the crowd I wasn't afraid to show them anything. Interpret that as you will.
  7. I actually only just found this out myself. The guy who handles our ordering/distribution neglected to tell me this :\ Also, I had sipmats done up for this year! I'll have them on tour and they'll be up in the webstore soon. They're badass looking: http://instagram.com/p/VpAm_6C5qa/
  8. On tour for the next week. Won't be able to ship anything until 2/20
  9. Most tickets went on sale Thurs/Fri. Some went on sale this morning.
  10. When have they NOT had a minimum of 3 openers though? Ill just show up to see them unless someone really, really good is opening. /feeling old
  11. Various associated costs that ticket purchases cover: Venue rental, insurance, local crew (loaders, bar staff, maintenance, riggers, sound techs, lighting, hospitality), tour crew (tour manager, sound techs, instrument techs, lighting, merch, bus driver), gas, bus, promoter fee, advertising, web space/traffic, actually paying the band, and on and on. FOB will more than likely play 2 hours. Will more than likely have 3-4 openers. Effectively breaking each ticket down into $8-10 per hour of entertainment. Quit your bitching.
  12. Tertia is by far their best record. It's like having to choose between favorite children or pets. But it's totally the best.
  13. Up! Lowered a bunch of prices. Help me offset these FOB tickets I just bought.
  14. "Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown..." is easily the best song on Folie. However, FUCK w.a.m.s.
  15. I have a small sum of cash saved up between checking and two savings accounts. What's a good starting amount for diversifying a portfolio with some of my reserve cash? $5k? $10k? And can my credit union help me manage this or would I need to talk to a financial advisor? I have a CPA that helps me with my taxes, I guess I could ask him. Ideally the bulk of it would be liquid or quickly accessible should I need it. I'm self-employed/independent contractor/1099-MISC so 401Ks are out of the question for me. ROTH IRA? Mixed CDs?
  16. I like it says "20% off" like that would make me feel better about spending $31.50 on a 2-song LP. Pass.
  17. It's worth $500 for Mr. Booger Man and Jesus/Cougar alone. And those are both on the same LP.
