I'd be willing to bet that John is feeling mighty outcast. Civil Wars' manager is also Joy's husband/baby daddy. Together, they're seeing way more profit than John is just as a writing, recording, and touring member. Publishing rights may lean in their favor, etc. Just speculation, but it's probably not far off. Now lemme hear one of these new songs, dammit!

Seriously, such a beautiful color. And Kate Harmer's design and layouts (she's done all 3 She & Him records) are always gorgeous. I love the inner sleeve and insert a ton. Album sounds clean and pristine. Though I'm not a big fan of this new thing Zooey's doing with her lower vocal tones. Glad to see MWard getting more vocal time, though.
