There was an article (in the NYTimes? don't remember) about these kids, its pretty shady what goes on. They're manipulated into joining these groups that drive around the country selling magazines, but frequently they don't pay the kids what they're owed. Part of keeping them in the group is giving them drugs and alcohol, and a lot of the groups aren't even legal, since they use a loophole or something to get around child labor laws.

I'm really excited for the Austin Lucas/Frank Turner split, I wonder who they'll cover. Virgil, you've done a great job finding awesome bands for these splits. Any thoughts on releasing them all as an LP?

I remember way back when you first posted about this, you had up that you were going to do a skull belt buckle. Did you every try making one? I thought they looked pretty rad.

It might be worth re-submitting the complaint of Feedback Extortion. My first impression was that no one bothered to even read your complaint, and then mattisr said that exact thing happened to him. It sucks that the dude's a jerk, unfortunately he probably handles his whole life that way. I kind of feel sorry for him, getting all worked up over jewel cases.

you are not wrong. last season was supposed to be the end but because of the writers strike they didnt get to finish it. this season I think is going to be a mini season to finish off what they couldn't do last season. At least that is what they said they were going to do at the end of last season. I am not sure if they are going to make it longer now or still just finish it off but I am way pumped that they didn't just let it end when there was the strike and never have closure. Scrubs and breakups - better with closure.

Looks like its gone already... I've been thinking of picking one of these up, has anybody received theirs already? Do you like them? They look kind of awesome.

I don't want to jump on a bandwagon of people giving this guy shit, but he seems to be making a more personal point than a reasonable point about vinyl collecting. Ebay sucks, paying 10x for a records sucks, and shitty albums on 16 colors suck. Virgil doesn't really have anything to do with any of those. I've felt the same way Justin has, when I can't get a copy of a recently pressed record for less than twice what it cost at retail, if you can find one at all. It sucks a big one.

I think this is OOP, white '59 Sound is up. So is blue.

I will place an order with my distributor right now and will load up on all the nofx records and the others that sold out quick. Thanks Virgil, I should quit whining and just be glad these are out and that you'll have them.

Man, I was first to post in this thread and I still missed out, epic fail on my part. Note to self for future 'order first then post on the forum' Yeah, I had all four NOFX records in my cart, looked at some other stuff for five minutes, and couldn't check out. It didn't even say which records were sold out. I wish the cart system actually held the items you put in it. I doubt I'll bother trying to find them now, if its this much of a pain in the ass.

Oh, I didn't mean I was waiting for the price to drop, I meant the smaller, silk-screened versions of those prints. I thought the price you were charging for the giclees was really low, considering what folks said about their cost. These prints are awesome, I'd ask for more but between your hand and my wallet this is probably just right.

I got the same Pistol Grip sleeve and the same XOSkeletons 7" with an order (for different records), along with an Alk3 Good Mourning sleeve and a bunch of stickers. They must have been trying to get rid of some piles of stuff.

Picked up a gold Jane Doe mashup, looks awesome. I was hoping the Hephaestus (sp?) prints would drop soon too, those giclees only look more tempting.

I've done all my ordering on a Mac running Firefox...maybe try clearing your cache? There's got to be at least one computer savvy person on here, at least more than me, to help you out.

I've been using a timbuk2 bag for seven years now, and its just starting to show some wear. Its not great for heavy loads for more than just a little while, I don't know if any messenger bags are. I imagine some folks have ones that work better. I know a lot of folks that swear by chrome bags too.

Someone said that the epitaph represses weren't out yet, but some definitely are. As of like two weeks ago Tiger Army's first LP, and the first two Distillers LPs are available, as well as Shape of Punk to Come (which has been out for a while). Not to mention Pump Up The Valuum, Recipe For Hate, All Ages, and probably some other stuff, which has been on hand all over for a while too. I thought the Tiger Army LP was on that list of things they were releasing somewhere at the top. Also, they're all black (except for Pump Up The Valuum, which is blue).

Wisconsin does do a pretty good job, but the lines in Madison were pretty long. I got there 15 minutes early, and was out in probably 40 minutes total. There was at least a hundred people ahead of me in line.

Shit, I like this album a lot, but I still can't spend that much on a record that's only a few years old. Hopefully Red Scare will get around to the repress soon.

I know a lot of people here don't like it, but I like American Apparel. Yeah, the CEO is a douche, but he is good to his workers (if not his models). I'm curious what other people like.
