Yeah, I got both of mine a while ago, but I'm really gay for this album and ordered it pretty early. He even shipped it priority for me, pretty sure I didn't pay for that (I think I paid for media).

I've given him +1 a couple times just so he's no longer 1337, I'm such a prick. I'd smite Scott (just for fun, not for a real reason), but I'm saving all my smites for a certain special someone.

Wow... I've been reading this board for almost 10 months now, and this has come up over and over. Is it okay for someone to sell something that they bought recently? Does flipping make you a bad person? I think the reason people feel like this is that someone selling something for a lot of money that has a lot of personal value to them somehow invalidates their ownership of it. Either that, or that because they were lucky enough or sneaky enough or whatever to get a copy of something, they should hoard it for all time. I understand why people get so bent out of shape about 'flipping' but to be logical about it, there are no reasonable arguments against it. Records are still stuff. There is no betrayal of anything in one person selling something that means something to another person. Dante had no reason to respond to any of the comments people made against this. His response to that criticism,asking Mike about it, was very respectful. Dante's been a great person to have on this board, because he's consistently funny and never acts like a dick for not getting what he wants. Folks need to grow up and realize that the value they find in something might not be the value the whole world should apply to it. I fully expect to lose my one, hard-earned karma point for this, but I'm surprised I've had it this long.

Here's hoping he makes it to the wilds of the midwest...I'd even drive to Chicago to see him play.

Thanks for the tip Scott. W/the discount code (its WELCOME), got the MLIW, CIS, and Nekro for $21 w/shipping. Not super amazing, but I'd been sleeping on that pic disc since everywhere wanted a lot for it. I like Nekromantix, but not $17 for a pic disc like them.

Way to go guys, quitting smoking is a bitch. I'm lucky that I never made it a habit. I've taken a bunch of med school classes, and from a health-care perspective, smoking should be illegal. So should alcohol, driving, and walking down the street. From a civil liberty perspective, cigarettes are kind of tasty. One cool point though, after seven years of not smoking, your risk of lung cancer drops down to the same level as someone who never smoked. Also, if you start before 18 you're much less likely to quit.

If I can ask, how many records did you sell in those 2 days? I think I counted 1000 for the two PO's yesterday (four hundred LA's, with the three recs in 100 sets, and 100 of the other color of Cocks & Dreams; 600 for GA w/100 black and 500 white). If the blue sells out today, you guys could hit 2000.

haha, totally know what you mean. probably one of the fastest growing threads on VC. absolutely ridiculous. people losing their shit. holy crap. but this is coming from a guy who wasnt around when the co-op shares went up.. so i doubt this can even compare. What was bad when they went on sale was they were gone in 8 minutes. And then it was hours and hours of people being super pissed. And people being pissed at them for being pissed. The internet: serious business.
