  3. Really? $30 shipped is just not a good price regardless if its a 2xLP. I would have probably considered this more if it were $25 shipped but that's the max.
  4. Wasn't a huge fan of Old Man Winter Ale but I'd be willing to try it again it was a long time ago that I had it last. Went on the Lakefront Brewery tour today it was pretty fun. I always enjoy going on brewery tours though, best ever really has to be Milwaukee Brewing Company, it's basically open bar for like 2 hours and pint glass for $10.
  5. yeah I want to say Dale's is closer to $10 for the 6 pack and Magic hat is usually $8 or less.
  6. This is not cheap by me. It's like $9-$10 for this 6 pack.
  7. I was thinking about it, and my go to kind of national drink is Magic Hat #9. I really like it.
  8. Finding a great beer that you can drink regularly is tough because there are so many options out there. I just try as many as I can. Unfortunately all the beers that I would suggest for regular drinking would most likely be local to Wisconsin.
  9. This is pretty awesome. I wish I had kids to play this for.
  10. I almost completely forgot about this and was in the car when it went up, luckily I had been on the page earlier in the day in preparation for it going up. It kept saying the purple where sold out even though there was a sliver left, so I just kept refreshing and trying to add it to the cart. After about 5 minutes of refreshing I got a copy so probably around 2:15pm I checked out! Super excited especially since I have the other Letterpress version as well.
  11. The Banana Plugs from them don't have to be soldered. I could have but decided against it, basically you put the cable through the end of the plug fan the wire out over the screw top then attach it to the connector part of the plug by screwing it together super simple. There are videos on youtube that show you easily how to terminate banana plugs. Do you need 15' of cable or is it 15' from each speaker to the receiver? So is it like 7.5' from the receiver to your speakers? If not 30' of cable from BJC will be pricey but going the non terminated route would be a lot cheaper than terminated. ie 30ft unterminated BJC 10 White is $29.70 Banana plugs 4 pairs is $15 $44.70 before shipping $53.65 w/ priority shipping 15ft terminated BJC 10 White Banana plug - $39.25 x = $78.50 plus 8.95 shipping = $87.45 I'm just saying what my experience was, for me it was should i buy the best now or something less than the best and constantly think there could be better. So I decided to go the BJC route and terminate myself since its loads cheaper than terminated cables. As for you last question, what amplifier do you have. Most amplifiers have screw top terminals that also have a hole on the ends where you plug a banana plug into. ie: or is it just a screw? if its just a screw then you'd only need to terminate one end on each set of cables, and then bare wire would be attached to the amp.
  12. So even if you bought two boxes, the possiblity is that you wouldn't get all 10? I only bought one but I figured that will be a question at some point.
  13. With the Blue Jeans Cables I went with the unterminated BJC 10 White then bought 4 pairs of their gold plated banana plugs. If you have any type of knowledge with sound equipment you would be fine to terminate them yourself plus it winds up being quite a bit cheaper than if you have them terminate and do their ultra sonic welding. But if you don't mind paying for them to do that I say go for it. Just saying its pretty simple to do yourself. Also the Epic 1's if they're like the 2's then they will come with Banana plugs(I just wanted a higher quality one which the Blue Jeans Cable banana plugs definitely are). Oh another reason for banana plugs are you can unplug them with out having to unscrew anything, not a huge plus but a plus. The Epic's are slightly recessed, when I got my 2's I was concerned about getting the right connector but couldn't decide which angles were best in spade so I just went with Banana after some research. Also they ship pretty quickly.
  14. Yeah I'm right on the border of IL. If you're talking Peoria its like 3 and half...haha
  15. I'm with Allenh, go find a goodwill or Salvation Army scope up the amps and speakers they have. When I was doing that I found some ok stuff at really cheap $25 or less prices.
  16. Out of that list I've had 3/6 of them. I remember staghorn being pretty good I think I gave it a 3.5/5 on untappd, Lakefront Pumpkin was awesome probably one my wife's favorite pumpkin beers this season I gave it a 4/5. Rocky's Revenge is was pretty good as well 3/5 on untappd bourbon barrel brews are always hit or miss with me, but I remember liking it. I just saw the Capital Oktoberfest popping up and I'll be sure to try that one soon. Pretty much you can't really go wrong with any of the breweries you picked.
  17. Nice! What did you get? Some lakefront? Milwaukee Brewing Company? New Glarus? Capital? Details....glad you stuck with Wi/Mke when picking the 6 hopefully they don't disappoint.
  18. Yeah they're definitely adding more characters and lots of people are going to die I'm sure. I think its just the start of the season and they'll get into the swing of things.
  19. Still sitting in USPS limbo...hopefully I'll have it by Tuesday!!
  20. Honestly if you're close to the $300 you might as well just hold out a little bit longer and get the Wharfedales I've heard great things about them. Yes, its about $200 more than you originally wanted to spend, but overall speakers are probably one of the most important parts to your whole system. However if you want to get something cheaper that's totally up to you and understandable if you can't afford it.
