  2. i dropped $225 for the deluxe reissue and another $50 for the 3xCD reissue. i've already got two copies each of the original 1-CD blister pack and the original 12x3" CD blister pack as well as the original UK LP pressing this is getting pretty ridiculous
  3. all colored pressings are boots. there's a Pumpkins collectors website that shows how to distinguish the black vinyl boots from the real ones. i'm glad i got mine back in the day for $30.
  4. is the Ergs/Measure split with Norm MacDonald's face on the Ergs side of the cover supposed to come with a download card? i got the other version from No Idea and it had a download. i got this version from DorkRod... and it didn't come with a download.
  5. this should still be worth some change since they're not reissuing it on vinyl with the deluxe edition.

  9. no book with Ill Communication. i've seen Check Your Head at the shop and it didn't look like there was a book with it either.
  10. I bought the deluxe version of Ill Communication but I found it for $60. It was definitely worth it for the lenticular cover. The pressing sounded pretty good. Better than my original green vinyl pressing.

  13. A new Floyd's Barbershop opened up in my neighborhood (around the Los Angeles/Venice Beach area) earlier this year. The owners of this particular Floyd's had someone paint a mural on the side of the building. I only recently noticed the images in the mural. Here is a shot of the entire mural Here's a closer shot of the right half of the mural - The top right hand image are the guys in The Gaslight Anthem - The kick drum head says "Live Fast, Die Awesome" - The lower right hand image is from The '59 Sound single - Sink or Swim reference and well as lyric reference from "We Came to Dance" And the left side In case you can't see, at the top, it says "These nights are still ours..." I couldn't find any info on who did the mural. The barbershop was closed when the pictures where taken so I couldn't ask inside. I think it's kind of cool and TOTALLY random that Gaslight are immortalized in a mural in Venice Beach, CA.

  15. whoo hoo! Neil Young has a street team spamming the boards!
  16. i'm starting to believe that this isn't coming out on vinyl anymore
  17. i'm pretty sure they were $5 a piece. they didn't strike me as special pressings. they looked like the same ones that are still available.
  18. i've been close to picking this up the few times i've been to the shop but i always put it back. i like the album but i can't justify paying $20 for it. not yet at least. there's nothing on the sticker on the shrinkwrap that indicates its colored vinyl though. wouldn't surprise me one bit if it was red though. you know because red is the color of blood. and blood is, like, evil.
