  5. The Boris 7" series went surprisingly okay. of course, that was only four 7"s over a 3 month period. this is seven (probably) double LPs over a 12 month period.
  6. it's the red cover, right? and it's actually called Rated X?
  7. they're probably able to lower their prices because they're pressing 120g vinyl instead of 180g. and they might not be using RTI to press their vinyl anymore.

  9. damn it. i was there around 11am. how much is it? vinyl was $17. the 7"s are behind the counter so you'll have to ask your cashier for it.
  10. not sure what time you were there (or if you just called them) but they had a boxful of 7" when i was over there at around 6:30pm. when i had called earlier in the day, the guy who helped me said he didn't see them. incidentally, has anybody who bought the vinyl been able to get the digital download to unzip? i keep getting an error on both my Macs. it's not a huge deal since my CD copy should be coming in the next few days but it'd be nice to listen to the album before that.
  11. it's called a VinylDisc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VinylDisc it was a very shortlived format that came out near the end of 2007. there's at least 4 singles that were put out in this format, TMV single, the Paramore single, a single from Fightstar, and some local band in L.A. whose name I don't recall but I kept seeing it in the used bins at Amoeba.
  12. "Bob George" off the Black Album Prince? that skinny motherfucker with the high voice?!?
  13. they're essential adding an entire album as bonus tracks, which is a great thing. especially since two of their best songs (Yes! I Am a Long Way... and Helicon 1) are included in the vinyl pressing. this is bound to be a great album because they are a much better live band than they are a studio band. but they really should have released a live album around the time of Rock Action or Happy Songs... The Hawk is Howling is probably my least favorite Mogwai album.
  14. Editors next month Biffy Clyro twice in March New Found Glory in March as well
  15. well, in that regard, wouldn't you say that nobody on the board owes you anything as well? i mean, yeah, nobody has to buy anything from you. fair enough. but judging by the thread, nobody attacked you. you started calling everybody "fucking idiots". and really, that's when everybody jumped on you. if you're not going to give people on here any respect then i don't think you should expect any in return. i read the Blink/Thrice thread and you pretty much got in peoples' faces then.
  16. If you're referring to the newer matador represses, they didnt. At least mine didnt, and i bought it late last year. good to know. yeah i guess it's the old 150g pressing vs. the 180g pressing with the download card.
  17. are you looking for the 7" single box set or the 12" LP? also, does the second pressing of the LP come with the 12x12 booklet or is was that only with the first pressing.?
  18. i have a copy of the Pavement live LP. if anybody is interested. PM me with an offer.
  19. i ordered the CD from Insound. hopefully i'll get the 7" from them. i'll pick up the vinyl from Amoeba next week.
  20. there's supposed to be a special edition of the upcoming Pavement best of album. the tracklisting of the RSD version will be chosen by a contest winner.
  21. Fucked Up - Bruises A live e.p. released earlier this month. Recorded live in Muenster, Germany on Dec 2. fate of fates police ban violins j.t.g.a. reset the ride http://www.megaupload.com/?d=M3VV80RU
