i'm pretty sure that the colored vinyl exclusive to Music Direct but the black vinyl presses should be available in stores. i saw Nevermind at Amoeba and i bought In Utero and Unplugged at another shop.

i took a listen to the In Utero reissue last week. it sounded pretty good. full sounding. really quiet vinyl. i'm not a big Nirvana fan so i couldn't tell you if it was the Albini mix.

alright, i stand corrected, the reissues will be available on BOTH colored and black vinyl. http://www.originalrecordingsgroup.com/htm/nirvana_overview.htm i wonder if it's 4000 total, how many are colored. either way, i'm cool with the black vinyl. especially since i didn't pay full price for them.

did you get a chance to listen to them? I'm on the fence about in utero and unplugged. It's tough to spend that kind of money on a single LP unless the packaging is nuts i won't be able to listen to them until i get home on monday night. luckily i didn't have to throw down $30 for them. i actually got them for a little more than 1/2 the retail price. i wouldn't have got them otherwise.

I use mobile fidelity sleeves for regular records and rounded rice paper sleeve for picture discs. I keep the records outside the cover and keep everything in a regular plastic outer sleeve. If the cover is autographed then I keep everything in a Japanese resealable sleeve.
