  2. ordered. now i'm wondering if i should cancel my Rough Trade order...
  3. so if we didn't see the charge to our credit card today, does that mean we aren't getting the 7" single?
  4. mine looks like this. and i got mine last october when they were first put up for sale.
  5. I'm not opposed to some help. It's "Groove is in the Heart" by Deee-lite. Figured it'd be a cool song for the jukebox. Haven't had this much trouble finding a song since Mama Said Knock You Out. Hell, I wouldn't even mind just seeing a picture of the damn thing. The more elusive it is, the more I want it. does it even exist? that song came out right around the time when 7" singles were being phased out in favor of cassette singles in the US. if anything, there might be a UK 7" single for it.
  6. Bustin' and Dronin' and Live at the Budokan were both full albums and not e.p.'s. i wonder if there is less of a vinyl market in Japan than there is in the US/UK/Germany, etc.

  8. both these songs are on the Couple Tracks comp that just came out. if this ends up being a bootleg, i'll probably just sell my copy.
  9. i ordered it from Elusive Disc. it was $29.99. i got free shipping because it was my first order. $30 is pretty much regular price because it's an import (UK) pressing.
  10. Only two of the singles have pic sleeves right? yeah, two pic sleeves, liner notes and a post card
  11. the major label singles should be relatively easy to find/buy on eBay. the first two albums and the first three indie singles are more of a challenge. glad i got into them early on. my collection is about to be complete later today when i get my copy of Post Electric Blues on vinyl.
  12. i picked this up when it came out last year. sounded really good. did a needledrop of the whole box to have on my iPod. another thing to note - my 2 picture sleeves has seam splits at the top and i wrote Sundazed about it and they sent me replacements without having to send the damaged sleeves back. that's awesome customer service.
  13. they're definitely a label of shady origins. but they've been around for a while and have done "audiophile" reissues of The Cure, The Jam, and The Who.
  14. maybe they couldn't get the rights to have it on the reissue since it's a cover version. it's not a bootleg. it was licensed to SpinArt when it was initially released then (i'm guessing) SpinArt licensed it to Vinyl Lovers for the reissue.
  15. yeah, i have all three SACD hybrids (don't have an SACD player though...yet). i'm really looking forward to hearing Surfer Rosa on vinyl though. the Doolittle vinyl was so incredibly clear and full sounding. almost like night and day compared to the original CD. i could hear more of what Dave Lovering was playing on his drums. yep. originally put out by SpinArt. i'm sure the Simply Vinyl press will sound good. if i find it at a shop then i might pick it up.
  16. damnit, and i just ordered the MOFI Surfer Rosa from Elusive Disc on Sunday. i bought the MOFI Doolittle on Sunday and was totally blown away by how great it sounded and order Surfer Rosa based on that. i'm gonna have to hold off on Bossanova for a couple months though. i have an OG press of the Purple Tape so i'm good there.
  17. did they charge you the full price immediately? i'd like to know if they charge you for the full price of the box set/vinyl

  19. i have a feeling the Kings Road Merch one is the DC one and the purple vinyl in the NFG store is the NFG one.
  20. it's a vinyl disc. http://boingboing.net/2007/10/19/vinyldisc-hybrid-pla.html
  21. what's the shipping to the US like on either the vinyl or the deluxe box? i can't be bothered to register to find out.
