I really appreciate sticking to 36", because I can put the ones I don't frame in a portfolio. For some your older prints that are over 36", they have to go in my flat file, which isn't that big of a deal, but it's easier to display and thumb through a portfolio case. And another plus for even dimensions is there are standard frames that can fit these (or be matted out to fit) which also helps, because custom framing is pricey. Poseidon and the Sea Beast are too big to even fit in the flat file, so they are the next to be framed. For artistic reasons, I can understand going for unique dimensions some of the time.

I know an easy way to clear up this "white record" business. I'd be glad to buy one off someone, at cost, you send it to me, and I, as an independent third party, can verify the existence of this record (or not). And I have a decent digital camera so I can post non-cell phone camera pictures. It's a win win situation.

This is not correct (I think it only applied to the YFM screenprinted covers, which were ultra limited). You can buy more than the number of variants and not get your ordered canceled (what if you are buying records for a friend who isn't around a computer when the sale goes live?) Deathwish can't police eBay and what people do with their records. I think moving towards keep repressing records that people want is a great idea. So new fans and what not are not forced to pay ebay prices. White Silence? Sounds messed up. We should raise a fuss in the European press and hope they change the name of the album to Belus Silence.

If Juan didn't get 'special' variants, you can count on this record not having them. Juan always has the DW hook up (also, if he got his today, I imagine mine will be at home when I get off from work, as that usually seems to happen. I see pictures of the records posted by him on the internet, then my copies are waiting for me when I get home.)

According to Facebook, no pre-order. Which means they will have them in stock the day they are posted, and in the past, they started shipping the same day. But since this is converge, and they are probably pressing 2,500 of each, it may take them a week to get all the orders out. But yeah, no pre-order.

Just about all of Deathwish's latest releases have been $12. Jane Doe was more because it was a double LP (twice as many records) and there was the deluxe 20+ page book. So glad Deathwish keeps costs low.

I had said on another board a week ago "The cover art for the OG appears to have more of a green tint to it, so looks like there was some color correction going on." But Jake said "No new print files were made and/or color corrections made. Jacket printing (especially in low numbers) will always have variations." Yours look about as different as mine.

Wonder what the price tag on that will be...
