Thanks for sharing pictures!! I will try to take some this week of everything as well. We have all been passing around the stomach flu so its been horrible and we have been short staffed. Everyone is back and I will get some pics as soon as we catch up. I am glad you are happy with how they sound! Danny and I have been working with Park since Lobster signed them through our radio station PunkRadioCast. I remember how excited we were when Lobster sent us those two albums. This was the first release we did with Lucky Lacquers and honestly listening to the lacquer reference reminded me of when we got sent the Park demos for airplay! I can't wait to actually spin the record! We will be using Lucky for every single project we are able to! They did an amazing job with this!!!

The manufacturer assembled these. They must have put those stickers on as a mistake. They were from the RSD pressing last year. I will ask the warehouse guys to remove them to avoid confusion. Also this was not advertised as numbered? Where was that posted because I cannot find anywhere? The first pressing was numbered, not ours

Pretty sure they did this with the latest Transit and/or Man Overboard albums and leaked the album art. I do not know where the hell you guys get your facts from. People here gossip and make up stories worse than high school girls. The distros give us one sheets. That is when we post products. Sometimes the distros and the labels don't communicate and the distros give us the one sheets before the labels want us to have them. How the hell am I supposed to know. Some of these labels and the distros are the ones who have to get their shit together. No one is rushing to beat the labels pre order! That is just ridiculous. In the case of Hot Water Music EVERYONE was asked to put the pre order up on Friday March 30th so I am not sure why IVWT is selling it for weeks now. HOWEVER last night the distro notified (after work hours) us that the label now wants to wait until Monday maybe Tuesday. We will of course comply.

You are correct. This is what it would have looked like if we didnt change to clear. However there will be 10-20 copies of this pressed in addition to the 250 clear yellow with black smoke.

I was supposed to have a Yellowcard update today but I didn't get one so hopefully Monday! Over It is next. We have the license for it, but I have to get a hold of the band for their blessing. Assuming they are good with it we will do it next.

So I got a nice phone call this afternoon and the Park records are done!!! Also the Opaque Yellow / Black didn't turn out as expected so we switched it to a clear YELLOW w/ black smoke. (NOTE EDIT sorry I put clear not clear yellow) I am expecting these mid next week so expect them to start shipping March 30 - April 3!!! We also got the Staring Back - On Reference Lacquers in today! We will be giving them a spin this weekend and hopefully approving.

I mentioned this somewhere else but we are fulfilling some of the larger mail order for him. Because we have a set up for large volumes it is a lot more efficient for labels to use us for fulfillment. Some use us permanently, some for just certain projects. We are doing these 7" and i just wanted to give the heads up that I have them arriving tomorrow. I dont think the band has their copies yet but I am not 100% sure.

The coke bottle wasn't shown in the picture. Not sure why. I asked the same question. They should be there though. However these are arriving to us tomorrow. I have tracking so unless the driver misses his delivery they should be there. ALSO we will be shipping out MTS and SRC copies. They need assembled so it may take a day or two. first of all he was deleted after he refunded. Regardless its all stupid. If he can't be respectful and just ship the order he cant use our resources to make money. Also you guys are supporting a company who just published someones contact info (phone and address) who purchased from them. When you provide a company with your private information do you not expect that to be in their possession safely, not posted on a forum?

Hey Guys. I (Jenna) did not do the banning but I have input on the situation. His stuff is not going be promoted here any more and that is that. Reason being. There is a title we are done with and no longer carrying - Thursday Waiting. Three guys in the warehouse wanted a copy and I told them no cause we only have enough to fill orders. Told them to find it elsewhere and Danny would buy it for them/ship it to us. They found it at IVWT. He refused to sell to us and gave attitude. We often buy records from various other companies. I buy from Interpunk often for stuff that I personally like and we do not carry. It is very childish to not let someone buy because you for some reason don't like their company. So all in all if he is not going to let our staff buy he or his store is no longer going to promoted on here. We put a lot of time into managing and maintaining this board for everyone. We allow every company to use it for free to promote their products.

Update: Pre orders will launch Thursday May 17th at 1 pm EST. Limited to 300 copies on black. It is a double LP at 45 RPM http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Staring-Back-%252d-On-2XLP.html We began production for Staring Back On. Pre orders/ release date won't be announced for a bit, but I thought I would share some info on where we are at! We are getting the lacquers done at Lucky again! Very impressed with how Park turned out. This is also going to be a double LP with a bonus track at 45 RPM. The artwork is also just about done. The layout will be done by Mike at Hold Fast http://www.holdfastcreative.com/mj/ Mike actually created the artwork for this title and many of the Lobster releases so it is great to have him working on the layout. As I have more info I will be updating this thread!

Also in terms of selling out this likely wont sell out in a few days. However I think it may by release date (May 1st). We have some copies going overseas to Japan and a few other places. If it does sell out we will likely do another run, even if its just black and a few hundred at a time.

In terms of physical difference it will just be the center label. The test press will have the regular label the plant provides. The press advance will have a "press advance" center label we designed. We did a different set so we could provide magazines and blogs with an advance to review before the release comes out. We will do this with all our releases. We will also print a few extra to give away with pre orders etc...

We have the same receiver and marantz 6350 q turntable. We have Polk Monitor 70s and it sounds really good. You can get a pair from Polk directly on eBay refurbished with warranty for around $300 including shipping. They also ship them freight not UPS or fedex.

Don't have any plans to sell the test pressings. We do have a run of 25 press advance test pressing copies. We will be giving away a copy of that per release to someone who pre orders. Those will ship Monday.

We are expecting test pressings this week! Given they are approved (we already approved references from the lacquers) we will announce a pre order which could happen late this week, early next week. Also in addition to test pressings we did 25 press advance copies. They have their own "Press Advance" center labels, are hand numbered etc... etc... We will give away one of these randomly to someone who pre orders and it will ship in advance of the release date. It may ship pre order day, or shortly after. Depending on when jackets arrive.

From experience the cost to license per LP is pretty pricey period. However I still think having it under $20 per LP is quite fair since each LP is full of tracks.
