  1. This would be pretty cool! I was going through some files the other day and I just remembered that prior to the release of In Defense of the Genre, Say Anything performed a lot of these tracks live at the Gibson Showroom / on PunkRadioCast. It would be amazing if Sony would let us release them on vinyl. They turned out awesome. Thrice also performed that day. I am pretty sure for both it would be pretty hard to get that approved, but it probably wouldn't hurt to ask!
  2. The pressing info was actually 1623 (1,500 plus overs) - 551 Blue, 551 Yellow, 523 Clear (Hot Topic). I just looked and we have 184 copies left in the warehouse.
  3. We might just give people the option to turn off the category sorting if they want. If you do not set the correct format for each album (LP, 2XLP, 7", 10", ETC) it will not help build a solid accurate list when searching.
  4. Things like this will come in the near future. We first have to get the core system perfect before we add all the good stuff! Keep the idea's coming. They are appreciated!
  5. Just announcement. The announcement will just have pressing info. We wouldn't pre order until we hear the tests! Here is the pressing info so you dont have to wait: 500 - Purple 500 - 180 Gram Black 1,500 - Gold
  6. Even though the album has a LOT of songs, the album is actually somewhere between 80-90 minutes long. If it was a 4XLP each side would be just over 10 minutes. It is definitely not a 4XLP. They did it at a double with each side around 20 minutes (Some a bit longer, some just under 20 minutes). We will have test pressings soon and if it compromises the sound quality we will definitely talk to the label. If this was a 4XLP or even a 3XLP with major label licensing it would unfortunately be way over $50 for a 4XLP.
  7. Just announced SRC013 on our Facebook! www.facebook.com/ShopRadioCast

  8. What exactly are the issues with it? We can fix if people are specific. The first time I used it the captcha said "dicklips". Seriously.
  9. No way you dont sound like a tool! That makes complete sense. We will discuss and see what we can do for the future.
  10. We had overs on the swirls. I sent them to Hot Topic. So you may be able to find them there. In terms of other retailers they will hit stores mid October and will be the 180 Gram Red.
  11. It will be available via Retail. I do not have our cost or know when we are putting up yet but I know we are honoring the $2.99 1 Item media mail pre order shipping
  12. RJ/AFS started this project a long time ago. They obviously never completed it before the license was transfered to SRC. However the plates were done before we were given the license. The plates for vinyl were kept in Universals control (as with any major label license deal). I asked RJ since the mastering was done when he was supposed to do this project and he said that Walter had it remastered for vinyl at Sterling Sound. The plates were made from that master. This may be why it was a bit confusing. We were told it was remastered but no other details than that. It took me a bit to get RJ to respond to my email about the details of the remaster. Hope that helps!
  13. Your picture is so much better than ours! I have to get a proper camera in the warehouse and no more cell phone pics!! Regardless, if you missed out on first pressing Revolver Mag is giving a copy away: http://www.revolvermag.com/contests/win-a-copy-of-the-vinyl-reissue-of-quicksands-slip.html
  14. Most of Dine Alone's shipped over the weekend. The remaining are going out right now!
  15. No I just printed them. Nothing was sent out incorrectly. Packing slips and postage get printed as one paper, then passed onto the packer. The packer will verify and catch those mistakes, but I saw it before it even reached the person packing. Just trying to get as much out before USPS picks up at end of day today then will refund/ fix / email
  16. I accidentally shipped a few of the second pressing but we did pull them and will fix/ probably email you today to let you know. Sorry! All 1,500 of these are shipping out this weekend so dont worry if you haven't received your notification yet.
  17. I will look through all the orders today and see what is up. I know Jerseydaves name so I can look that up but ditc586 PM me your name or order number
  18. Here are some pictures of the swirl! We are assembling so all the first pressing orders (SRC and Dine Alone) will ship over the weekend! Hoping to have them all out with tomorrows USPS pick up
  19. We will keep this release in press on 180 Gram Solid red so we will just re order as need be. So if we run out there will likely be a repress on the way at some point .
  20. We dont "find" copies. I usually make sure we hold 10% on our own pressings as for the pressing plants have a 10% over/under. If the plant ends up sending overs, then there tend to be a good amount of records left. If there are unders, I dont want to start refunding people. In terms of something like this (an exclusive someone else produces) we hold back usually around 10 copies in case some get damaged in the mail system. ALSO a lot of people do echeck via Paypal. Sometimes those fail in a week or two and their copies end up going back in stock. So although it seems we randomly 'find' copies its more of just a precautionary thing to avoid having to ever refund anyone.
  21. For pre orders, your first LP is $2.99, Second $3.99 and then we have $4.99 flat rate for anything over 2 pieces
  22. Whoops we are not releasing these. We just have an exclusive limited to 300 copies on 180 Gram Trans Blue
