My wife metro-ed in with her friend (we live close). She said there was an insane amount of people. Maybe more than they expected. At the some of the stations the people couldn't exit the station fast enough to keep up with incoming trains. Could have just be scuttlebutt, but she said because of crowd sizes there was talk of rerouting the march. However, people just started marching and that put an end to that. She also said people were leaving their signs piled up a the Trump hotel. There were more people out today than for the inauguration. Probably irks trump.

The Rev UC was 300, and the red & clear (?) were 100 from SL. 

I tried to zoom in on the picture too, but couldn't make the sticker out.

This was from me. In hindsight, i did not leave any clues, a faux pas on my part.  However, I am glad you enjoyed it. It was fun putting it together.  I also  picked up one of the MDB split 7"s, but then saw that you got the box set. If not, i can send it along. Also, check the half-title of Wild Things - it should be signed by Dave Eggers i believe. A furry book, nothing creepy about that. Real Gone is one of my favorite Tom Waits' records. A must for all. Agreed, a lot of newer rockabilly can be hit or miss, but the 1st JD McPherson record is great. Happy New Year and all the best to kith and kin!

The last new record was Memory Loss - Blackout 7", but i just paid for a tour press of the 1st Protester 7" from some random dude on FB. We'll see how that goes.

UXO - S/T 12" - White --- This is the new band by Chris and and Steve from Unsane and Today is the Day, respectively.  It is also loud, abrasive and good.

Coquettish - Total Pops Madness 7" - Tests Press --- This is from a japanese ska punk band. I was unfamiliar with them. Will have to give this some spins.

Andes Peppermint Crunch Thins --- I love peppermint bark. I am crushing them as I type.

The Emerald Mile --- It says the story is epic and looks intriguing. Next on my list.

Star Wars Lego Wookie Gunship --- After typing this out I am going to put it together. I love me some star wars. I am actually listening to the Catalyst book (Rouge One Prequel) as i type. 

Broomstick Strawberry Gunpowder Green Tea --- My wife was eyeing this up. She is a tea junkie. I hope to get a cup in soon.

Sun art paper --- Looks fun. I hope to send some friends my sun burned bird.

Ren & Stimpy comic --- Always a good time. Nothing beats the episode where Stimpy loses his fart.

Camping Clothes Line --- This looks useful. I plan to try it out once we thaw out.

Swedish Dish Cloth -- I do a lot of dishes. My wife does few. I will put this to good use.

Ford can't be dead -- he must have made a host of himself to fake his death. 

 

I suppose this depends on if they can get Anthony Hopkins back in 2018. As mentioned above, there was the Human Printer making someone when Teresa got killed. At the time, it looked like he was possibly making a Teresa impostor, but he could have been a Ford model.

Is there other evidence besides finding an old picture that the William/Logan storyline takes place ~30 years ago? I cant remember, but maybe there were old logos when he went through orientation. So then William is likely the Man in Black?

Ford looked younger in the Bernard creation scene - younger than the 1-5 y estimated above. I was wondering why nobody noticed that he has not aged or changed his clothing/glasses etc. on the assumption that  was much longer.

Meave instituted some serious changes to her code. Does she have power over Ford's commands? Maybe if she was "created" by arnold, unlike Bernard. Regardless, there will be some slaughter before season's end.

I am still not too sure of Ford's deal. He says he wants to "tell his stories" and has taken some drastic actions to stay in power. However, he has not seemed too invested in the storylines in general and has poo-pooed Arnold's park ethos. What's the big story he wants to tell? His motivation has to be more than a desire to remain in control over his creations. He doesn't buy arnold's idea that the hosts could reach some type of human conscience, which would be a beautiful thing. He seems to think that humans are imperfect and hosts are better off as they are. However, what was the point of adding the reveries in the 1st place? I think i will need to rewatch it from the beginning after the season ends.

The two other packages arrived today. I will try and fail to hold out as long as possible.... Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy the snow. It must be weird that every time it snows more than 6" the storm doesn't get a name and life continues on unabated. 

Package arrived today. I was going to wait to open it, but there was a message on the exterior stating i should open it ASAP because it was filled with perishable goodies. It did not lie, as there were many tasty treats, including delicious homemade apple cider caramels. The rest of the numerous gifts were individually wrapped. Thus, i think i will wait until at least December to open them. The exterior note also stated that this was package 3/3!? That seems crazy.

Although i have not opened the gifts, i shall attempt to identify the generous sender.  Using my government spy training and multiple  clues: immaculate penmanship, northern motif and love of pizza, murder by death, and lil' bub..... I think it was chkadea in the UP with the USPS.

The likelihood of flipping the senate is greater than the house, but it's still a foot race. Most of the major new outlets have been a bit more critical than 538's predictions. From their stories Bayh was going to lose because he's now seen as a DC insider..... 

Given this cycle i have been a bit weary* about making rock solid predictions.

*meant wary, but i suppose weary might be apropos as well.
