In my experience interpunk gives store credit for pre-order cancellations. You can cancel from the orders page on your account and the store credit shows up very quickly for the full amount.

There really is no need to get upset here. Everyone needs to cool off and focus on positivity in their lives. I too ordered the boxset on the chance that they were clearancing out a few remaining sets either to make room or as sort of a loss-leader to get additional orders. That ended up not being the case. But now it is not really reasonable to expect an independent label to take an unexpected financial hit because of a computer glitch. Even a percent off coupon is not fair when that is money out of Robotic Empire's pockets for something completely outside of their control. To avoid these problems perhaps the email being sent to people could use a different tone to avoid any misunderstandings. For example my email read: "Hey Kurt, sorry but that price on the Floor 8xCD set was a mistake so we can't sell it to you for 99 cents" The "to you" part may make it seem personal, and may unintentionally be angering people in a way that saying, " we are unable to this item for $.99" would not. This is probably just the law school in me though haha. Robotic Empire is a respectable label who has kept their prices down and their customer service up at a time when many other labels have done the opposite. I hope that anyone upset by this issue is able to take this into account and find perspective on this issue.

Deathwish really is the absolute best. For the first time in almost 10 years of ordering from them I had a package show up missing a record. I sent an email, got a response in less than a week, no questions asked, and had a tracking number for the record the next day. That kind of customer service is what sets Deathwish apart from everyone else. Not to mention they have a tendency to put out records by some killer bands.

I got the same call just a minute ago haha. Kings Road Merch has always had great customer support and treated me well but this was a seriously classy move on their part for something that really wasn't their fault. And really I was just stoked to hear that the record will be on it's way soon. I've been avoiding any leaks/downloads so that I can sit down with it and have a great first listen experience.

Not yet, I'm waiting until I'm ready to make a big order. Since it's Hopeless my best guess would be black for retail though.

LP/7" bundle would be perfect. As is I'll just wait until interpunk gets copies of the LP so I can save on shipping plus rack up those sweet, sweet interpunk rewards points.

Well that makes two of us who would buy it haha. I would love to see a small run happen, but I'm afraid that a label would have trouble selling even 500 copies of it. I'm glad Rev is keeping Building in print though, that record is an absolute classic in my opinion.

You know what, I am way more into it now than I was when it was first released. At the time, the switch in sound threw me off a little bit, and watching them play on that tour you could almost feel the difference in the air when they played the new material versus the older songs. There is just a different dynamic about Trainwreck but it totally worked.
