My friend Cory Kilduff did the artwork for this release. They bought a fishtank from Petco, filled it with ice water and dunked Stuart (the guitar player from his band The Rise) into it to get those photos used for the cover/layout. The fishtank was promptly returned to Petco the next day for a full refund (hooray!). These are the original negatives that includes untouched versions of both the photos actually used on the record as well as numerous never seen alternate shots. Also included will be a CD with digital versions of all the photos. Things that can also be included: +Copy of the LP on blue/black vinyl (limited too 300 copies) +YL shirt from that era with the "heart/girl" logo Cory and I have a new band so we're selling some things off to purchase more studio equipment. If this is something that sounds cool to you PM me offers and help us out!

To answer my own question, I got a refund automatically a few days later without having to bug the fine folks at Oldies.com Good times! Would order again any day.

Got one of the seven that I ordered. Still a great deal though and very happy to have "Sing Loud, Sing Proud" by the Dropkick Murphys on vinyl. Bonus: It was on green vinyl. Bonus Bonus: I paid 8ppd for a record I would have easily spent twice on anywhere else. Is the paypal refund automatic after the 14 days? Do I need to call or email about it? Will I ever get a girlfriend?

I would definitely grab another copy of Straylight Run if I knew it came with a real insert this time around. The CD booklet was such a lazy touch on the RSD release.

Very cool sale. Picked up some Braid records I've been wanting plus a few other things. It was exceptionally difficult to limit my spending to around $50.

With a running length of 18:59 that would be one ridiculously shitty sounding 7".

No vinyl at the Austin date tonight. But I gotta admit the two new songs they played actually sounded pretty good live. It's hard to judge off of the leak, but I'm definitely willing to give this album a real chance when the LP comes out.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much everything sold for. Sadly, I'm still going to have to do another big ebay sale soon because our expenses are through the roof right now, all this stuff covers is my portion of our $1250 orchestra bill!

The screenprinted jackets were made by the label when they found a few extra copies of the record itself but ran out of sleeves. I wanna say this happened back in like late 2010 or so.

I saw this being an issue so I put the actual record in a generic sleeve as soon as I got it. Even still there was a small amount of gunk on the record, but after I played it through twice it seemed to be almost completely gone. It's worth noting though that I bought the record the day it came out so it was in that awful sleeve/insert for the least amount of time possible.

It's definitely a very cool looking record and some of their best material just behind The Satellite Years (imo).

I would totally sell it for $16ppd. I think I've listened to it once... haha I can't even remember if I ever spun the b-side, it was kind of an impulse purchase and I can't see myself ever listening to it again.

I want to say there was mention of it possibly being pressed at some point in an interview with Mark, but I could have just dreamed that up because I like the EP so much. Seriously, the thing blows Neighborhoods out of the water.

The only time I've had pressing info changed on me it happened before my order shipped and I got a personal email explaining what happened and asking me if I wanted to change the color or anything else with my order before it shipped. That being said, all I ordered this time was Straylight Run and it could be out of 10,000 for all I care, I didn't have time to do RSD this year so I'm just happy to own the record at a reasonable price.
