  1. When I inquired with the label about getting copies I was told wholesale was very limited for this release. I'll only be getting 10, so I doubt very many will be available stateside.
  2. Same here. My copies arrived a few days ago and I thought the quality was just fine. Btw, for anyone sleeping on this I'd suggest grabbing one now since MOV is sold out of the colored copies and prices are starting to increase. I was only able to get 4 copies for my shop.
  3. Yeah, I watched that documentary a few months ago, it was solid. You could tell some of the band members harbor some resentment over how out of control Jeffrey could be and how they were treated at times. Kid Congo seems like such a cool cat though, gotta check out his solo work one of these days,
  4. In My Room features the unreleased recordings of what would have been the very last album of The Gun Club. Recorded in the very last period of the band, between 1991 and 1993 - the studio recordings that Jeffrey Lee Pierce did with The Gun Club, with maximum quality and excellence of sound and presentation. What Jeffrey Lee Pierce exposes here is the highest vocal and guitar performing, from sounds are reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix and Television, to truly intimate heartbreaking blues, going through soul and rock. Includes covers from The Who, Wilson Picket, and more. A dream come true for all Jeffrey Lee Pierce/The Gun Club fans all over the world - absolutely necessary. Comes in a deluxe gatefold jacket; Includes lyrics; 150 gram vinyl; Edition of 500. PRE-ORDER HERE - http://www.forcedexposure.com/Catalog/gun-club-the-in-my-room-lp/BANG.107LP.html Apparently this was a bonus CD on the Lucky Jim double CD release from Flow Records, which I've never heard. Nevertheless, I want this and I just wanted to start a Gun Club thread because they were so fucking amazing and underrated.
  5. Yeah, those clips sounded good. I'm still very much interested.
  6. I think Garm mentioned in a facebook post that wasn't gonna happen. He said they just ran out of time.
  7. I'm not gonna pre-order either. I'm hoping I can find some of these stateside. I'd be fine with a black copy,
  8. House of Mythology Newsletter 21/02/2016 Following last year’s highly successful ATGCLVLSSCAP, an album of largely improvisational, rock and electronic soundscapes, comes a brand new studio album from Ulver – their first since 2011’s Wars of the Roses. The Assassination of Julius Caesar arrives 7th of April and pre-orders went online a bit earlier today. In addition to unlimited black we have pressed 500 gold, 500 clear/transparent and also 300 gold/black marble versions of this colossus of an album. Unfortunately the band jumped the gun – before we had time to write this – and the marbles were gone with the wind mere moments after their Facebook post today. Not in our wildest dreams had we foreseen such enthusiasm. So, our sincere apologies to those of you who did not see said post or get a heads up from us. We hope you can forgive us and enjoy a regular gold, or clear, of which there are still plenty left. The thing comes as 180 gram vinyl housed in black poly-lined inner bag, thick (matte) card stock sleeve, 5mm spine, including a 12” matte paper booklet, 24 pages. All in protective PVC exterior sleeve. Recorded and produced by Ulver and mixed by legendary producer Martin ‘Youth’ Glover alongside Michael Rendall. SIDE A: Nemoralia, Rolling Stone, So Falls the World, Southern Gothic SIDE B: Angelus Novus, Transverberation,1969, Coming Home Never afraid to make bold musical statements or broaden their already expansive sonic palette, this new album is no exception. We predict that jaws shall drop! The band also has some select live performances on the horizon, where they will be presenting this new material: Friday 21-Apr: Safe As Milk Festival @ Pontins, Prestatyn, Wales Sunday 23-Apr-2017: Roadburn Festival @ 013, Tilburg, The Netherlands Saturday 29-Apr-2017: Impetus Festival @ Les Docks, Lausanne, Switzerland Sunday 30-Apr-2017: Donaufestival 2017 @ Krems, Austria Thursday 15-Jun-2017: Dark Mofo Festival @ Hobart, Tasmania Friday 30-Jun-2017: Prog Be My Friend! @ Poble Espanyol, Barcelona Ad victoriam wolves, House of Mythology PRE-ORDER HERE - http://houseofmythology.us11.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=ecbd47c80ae19c16bc0400812&id=b6140115d7&e=a7c912811f
  9. So tempted to grab the red but I'll wait for a US press.
  10. I feel the same way. I used to collect anything and everything ISIS but I just don't listen to anything else besides the normal albums these days so I passed as well.
  11. The Pillorian 7" is now in stock and shipping at my shop. Link is in my sig. Price is $10.49 plus shipping.
  12. I'll make another post when they come in. Unless they get held up in customs, they should be in stock Monday or Tuesday. If I get dinged with customs fees they'll be $1 or so more.
  13. Thanks, I was surprisingly able to get some from a distributor overseas even though they're sold out from the band and label. For those who missed out, I should have them available early next week in my shop. They'll likely be priced at $9.99.
  14. Don't get your hopes up for a pressing of The Eyes of Stanley Pain, Nettwerk won't seem to let that happen no matter how much Cevin tries.
  15. Yeah, I've been picking up most of the Key releases. I didn't grab Cyberaktif because I found the original press for $1 at a goodwill recently. Really hope some of the Back and Forth LP's get pressed eventually and Puppy Gristle. I have Back and Forth 2 and although nice it's just a bootleg. Gotta grab Symbols soon, forgot about that.
  16. I'm sure we have a handful of Skinny Puppy fans who would be into these. I know I've been waiting for a Doubting Thomas press for quite some time. Doubting Thomas - The Infidel Originally released on the seminal Wax Trax! label, the Doubting Thomas sessions were recorded in between sessions for VIVIsectVI and Rabies, by Cevin Key and Dwayne Goettel (Skinny Puppy) and also featured the talents of Tom Ellard (Severed Heads). This incredible triple-vinyl reissue is fully authorized by Cevin Key and includes the entire Infidel album remastered, plus the Father Don't Cry EP. Doubting Thomas started as a collaboration between Key and Goettel, when tracks that didn't fit for Skinny Puppy were collected and stored for later use. By 1990, the two had enough material for an EP, and Wax Trax! released the now-classic and essential Father Don't Cry on 12" vinyl. Later in 1991, Wax Trax! released the full-length The Infidel, which to date has never been issued on vinyl. An anniversary edition on CD came out on Key's own Subsconscious imprint in the mid-2000s, but a vinyl version remained elusive, until now that is. Toronto-based Artoffact Records is proud to announce a definitive triple-vinyl edition of The Infidel, complete with Father Don't Cry, and packaged in an out-of-this-world triple gatefold sleeve, with restored artwork and remastered audio. Available on black, green, and a collectors' edition pressed on split black/white vinyl. http://www.stormingthebase.com/doubting-thomas-the-infidel-3x-3lp-vinyl-black-green-guy-effect/ Cyberaktif - Tenebrae Vision A beautiful double-LP vinyl reissue collecting the complete works of Cevin Key and Bill Leeb project Cyberaktif. In 1990, Bill Leeb of Front Line Assembly, as well as cEvin Key and Dwayne R. Goettel of Skinny Puppy joined forces to record one of the most iconic releases in the industrial genre: Cyberaktif! Artoffact Records presents a remastered 2LP vinyl edition of Tenebrae Vision, including both the Temper and Nothing Stays singles, and a rare bonus cut of Nothing Stays, edited by Beatbox Inc. The double LP is housed in an amazing gatefold sleeve with artwork restored. The audio is fully remastered (sounds AMAZING) and let's not forget that two tracks feature Blixa Bargeld from Einstürzende Neubauten! An epic reissue for an epic masterpiece. http://www.stormingthebase.com/cyberaktif-tenebrae-vision-3x-2lp-vinyl-black-yellow-splatter/
  17. Can't wait. I'm enjoying the first track that was released.
  18. Yeah not feeling that new one at all. Hopefully I'll like it better in context with the whole album.
  19. Yeah, got my color copy in today and it looks/sounds amazing. Quality pressing all around.
  20. Yeah, I'll pass on that. If it came with crayons maybe...
  21. With that said, I don't care much either unless I paid a lot of money for record.
  22. That sounds pretty good. I think I'm in for a pre-order if Warner doesn't price these crazy high.
