  1. Yeah, I pulled up the album, stared at it for a couple minutes, and decided to pass.
  2. Yeah, I got a call on Sunday... I missed the cut too. BUMMED but I appreciate the follow up from Crime Scene.
  3. In for a Clear/Dark blue swirl. The coffee cup is long gone.
  4. Someone looking to unload some Weston LPs/7 inches? I'm really looking for "Got Beat Up" but let me know if there's anything you're willing to part with and maybe we can work out a deal. Thanks
  5. This looks really rad and I'm definitely on the fence. Has anyone picked one of these up?
  6. I got mine a couple days ago and it has exceeded my expectations. I hadn't heard them and basically based my purchase on the art work, label, and pedigree of the band members. This is definitely a worth-while purchase and possibly one of the best records of 2010, in my opinion.
  7. In for one. Damn, November has been starting off strong with some bad ass releases.
  8. Ugh, my wallet hurts. I picked up Closing Time, The Heart of Saturday Night, and Small Change on red. I already have a copy of Nighthawks At the Diner but it took every ounce of will-power not to drop the money on that anyway. I can't wait to get these in. Thanks for the post!
  9. I'm glad I got my order in before the cut off. I enjoy Integrity AND surprises, so this works well for me.
  10. I have never heard these guys but I just picked one up based solely on that amazing artwork. If the music is half as good as the art, this is going to be killer.
  11. Damn, I just ordered the deluxe version a couple hours ago. It sucks that I'm going to have to grab it off a torrent site to get the tunes on my phone. It just doesn't feel right to have to "steal" music I already paid for.
  12. "The Music Monitor Network, largest of the independent record store coalitions with stores in both the US and Canada --is proud to announce the launch of Metal Club. Metal Club is a group of record stores throughout the US and Canada that work to connect the vibrant metal community with their local record store. Fans will be able to visit their local Metal Club store for special metal promotional pieces, exciting in-store events, and a series of exclusive Metal Club releases, starting with ...Metallica." "Metallica will release a live LP, Live at Grimey's, on standard CD/limited-edition 2x10" vinyl with a gatefold jacket on 11/26/10 ("Black Friday") which will only be available at "Metal Club" stores (which include J&R Music World in NYC and Vintage Vinyl in NJ - full list of stores here). Additional releases available on "Black Friday" will include a reissue of Queens of the Stone Age's debut on vinyl, The Sword's "(The Night The Sky Cried) Tears of Fire" on Hexagonal 12" Picture Disc, and Pantera's "Cowboys From Hell: The Demos" on 180 gram vinyl, among many others. 13. I saw this on the Pirate's Press website; looks like the collection is moving forward. Hopefully this comes together sooner than later. "… Finally, all the pirates had a chance to sit down together and check out all the proofs & samples for the COCK SPARRER ESSENTIALS collection..." http://piratespress.com/rotw/
  14. I got mine in the mail last week. It looks great and I'm stoked to have this on vinyl after listening to it so frequently via mp3.
  15. I just got mine in the mail today and this thing is gorgeous. The silk screened cover art and beautiful green record with subtle blue tint are amazing. It was worth the 30 bucks.
  16. Next pay check, I'm springing for a pair of those dope sweatpants. Does anyone know if they run small? Man, there is nothing worse than some short, tight, sweatpants on a dude like me.
  17. I got the Slayer "Vinyl Conflict" in the mail a couple weeks ago as well, so it's been a seriously killer few weeks for vinyl box sets. Keep 'em coming and I'll keep on getting further in debt; it's a win/win.
  18. I picked mine up last night. I can't resist a Bad Religion flag. I don't have ANY BR on vinyl so at 200 bucks for 15 records, it's a pretty sweet deal. I can't wait to see that big Bad Larry come in the mail.
  19. I just picked up one of those ballin' Black Tusk records. Hell yeah.
