Ordered a Gray Ghost and a Grave Maker.

I got mine yesterday and the corners were a little banged up, but nothing outside of the norm.

Pricey stuff. With 2000 copies of the black vinyl, I can afford to wait until closer to March and maybe by then I can buy the record on its own without the CD or pic disks.

You beat me to it. While I'm bummed about the potential poor sound quality/unplayability, it should be a pretty sweet looking record and if nothing else, a conversation piece.

they can't be played? wtf? Aren't you stoked? I don't remember reading anywhere in the description of these records that they are unusable. Oh well, it's my own fault for getting so worked up about a record because it has Bible ashes in it. Next time, I'll stick to basic, black, listenable vinyl.

Then again, I have T-Bone Walker under W and Lightnin' Hopkins under H so maybe I have to re-think my whole system. My world is crumbling before my eyes. The more I think about this, the more I realize this is a problem relegated to my blues collection.

I never by duplicates of an album but they got me thinkin' I need all three of these. This is such a great record from start to finish. By the way, if you haven't read John Joseph's "The Evolution of a Cro-Magnon" you need to get on that because it is amazing.

Same here, it's the plastic sleeves they come in that I can't get over. The record could sound great, the art could look great, but my OCD would force me to buy a proper cover for the record at some point. I like to hold the art work and lyric sheet in my hand while I sit down and listen to the album.

I got mine in yesterday and spun it immediately. Both sides are killer cover tunes. I can't stand Rush but I dig the way Sacrifice did "Anthem" and of course Propagandhi kill it on their COC cover.

I'm probably bringing in about 10-15 7"s and 20-25 LPs a month which I thought was WAY too many to admit to until I read this thread.

where'd ya order the retail one from? My bad, I meant to say that I ordered both versions of the mailorder but that came out completely wrong. Trying to work, AND buy records, AND post on a message board leads to confusion.
