Is there any routine time of day for a big Thursday release to be posted?

Consider me officially paying attention

Any guesses or are these usually just totally random?

No people who came to this band with AM will like this more than someone who has a fan of the first 3 records
This is correct because to those people, this is "edgy and different," instead of just a croony Humbug-on-the-moon.

I'm in the (small?) camp of people that doesn't think they would do something this insane and advertise it to the degree that they are without some OG-lineup Appetite shows waiting to be announced.

The 2-shirt mystery bundle for $25 is kind of tempting alongside the EP, but I can probably just pick up a shirt and a copy of this when they're here soon.

Integrity Blues is right up with Bleed American and Futures as some of their best-ever material.
I appreciate Clarity but I'm not as big of a fan as some of the other die-hards...I think the general consensus is, if you prefer BA/Futures, you'll probably like Integrity a lot. If you really prefer the Clarity style, it may just be "another new Jimmy record" for you.
Pretty Grids, Pass the Baby, The End is Beautiful, and Pol Roger are all big standouts for me.

Just in time for the (probable) final leg of the Integrity Blues tour, Jimmy Eat World will soon release a new 7" to support on the road.
The information leaked onto Kings Road Merch within the past few days, sparking certain sites to activate their product pages.

Don’t really get all the negativity towards the surprise aspect of this release.
You can't pre-order a surprise!
You can't keep checking your mail one or two days before release date to see if you got the album delivered early...when its a surprise!
You can't scour the internet and make sure you've PO'd every single variant of a total surprise!
In other words, it's a cool marketing tactic that focused more on the music than the collector-competition / consumerism and that just stinks.

Bumping this thread to celebrate what a fucking fantastic album this is, and also track any scoop on an upcoming vinyl release.
What has VMP hinted about?

I asked Scott about a year ago if we would see a Pack Up the Cats vinyl release, and he said yes. Turns 20 this year, so I'm sure it'll be out before the end of the year. Would be really cool if they toured the album like they did for As Good As Dead; I saw Local H for the first time on the "6 Angry Records Tour" where they pulled a record out of a hat and played it straight through, and I got PUTC. That album just rips when they do it live.

‘Space Camp’ was a seminole pop punk/punk album
Certainly among the best of the Creek-punk movement of the aughts.

It would be cool if WW sourced some unreleased music for this release, but I'm honestly not sure how much, if any, extra music there is to be had.
I just looked at the original and didn't even realize extensive it was, I'm sure it will just be updated artwork. I guess the wonder will be if its just a repress or it's from a different source / remaster.
Anyone own the original press / hows it sound?
-
Yesss! Wonder if it'll have any different music from the widely-available standard press, but no doubt the artwork will justify the purchase.

I don't know any of ya'll but this thread is fun as fuck to read and the title change made me laugh out loud
Carry on

After nabbing the Call Me By Your Name OST, I'm back on a soundtrack kick....and we need a reissue of the Mulholland Drive OST. Seems like something Mondo would run away with.

Hey allMy girlfriend and I are both U2.com subscribers so we both received the special box set gift of the 4 Joshua Tree singles, b/w live versions of each song from the 30th Anniversary Tour. Only need one, so we're unloading the other - $30 shipped.Includes...Where the Streets Have No NameI Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking ForWith or Without YouIn God's CountryCondition:Records are NM, I can't say mint because we opened the shrink on both to check condition. But they've never been played.Sleeves are G+ or VG- due to inch-long seam splits at the top of each sleeve. Other than those bruises, the sleeves are in great shape, what you'd expect from a brand new record that had some shipping trouble.I'll pack these with cardboard and bubble so no further damage is inflicted.sold

Schroeder is in, but not playing bass according to Billy. Keeping his job as a guitar player. Still no word on who they'll bring in. Blurry personal pic (someone else's) of a photoshoot in the last week.

No way this waits till Oct.
Either riotfest or some summer shed tour
I think Riot Fest is likely too, but that history with the Metro isn't to be ignored. Also, Iha has touring commitments w/ A Perfect Circle through June. I really don't think a 30th Anniversary, reunited Smashing Pumpkins are going to do two months of dates before headlining Riot Fest. It takes place two weeks before the aforementioned "first show ever" so I'm pegging Mid Sept / Early Oct for this to be happening.
If the big announcement happens to be a Riot Fest reunion, expect them to do a pre-show beforehand at the Metro to officially kick it off.
No way that first show with the three of them together isn't in that room though.

I hadn't even thought about this but I would do bad bad things for basically anything from JT Paris thru Vertigo Chicago.
Achtung Baby celebrates another decade in 2021 - it'd be wild to see a ZooTV vinyl surface (even if it was Sydney). Though I guess those shows took place in 92-93. Whatever.
