Same. Took a couple listens to get used to the vocals and a couple more to really appreciate them. Only real complaint is the production.

I downloaded some of the bands you mentioned here. Bumping to say Stolas is fucking AWESOME.

It's like I just can't spend my money fast enough.

I don't think this band will ever put out anything like Happiness while Jon Mess is in it. I agree on the production...some parts the guitars get lost in a wall of noise and that shouldn't happen in a DGD song.

The singer is growing on me. Carve is really fucking good.

I have mixed feelings on this. I think I like the songs with either more screaming and the singing playing a smaller role or the opposite, with more singing and the screaming playing a smaller role. The songs that are a more even split sound kind of forced. Almost like 2 songs combined into one. About half the songs on here I really like though. And, like most DGD albums, I'm sure it will grow on me. Bring on the boxset!

I've given up on Amazon sellers, hopefully international shipping from Banquet or their merch store isn't too crazy.

The hand painted cover idea is a cool one, but if I'm paying that much for one I'd rather it be done by the artist behind the album art instead of the artist behind the music.
