I asked why it said 500 instead of 1000, and the merch girl said she wasn't sure how they did that, if they just halved the pressing or what. So much border around the cover! Crimeney! I guess, just like with the TOYPAJ repress, there's no second guessing on whether it's the repress or not, since the older press of TOYPAJ had the white border like the cds, and Cheshire Cat had the thinner border and red eyes.

I was so pissed about the fact that the reception on my phone cut out just in time for me to not be able to bid via ebay mobile app last-minute on the Music Tapes/Dad split 7" picture disc that was just up and it went for $5. I can't remember the last time it was even up for sale, let alone that cheap.

Just got the UK 12", have the Dutch 7" (different b side), a Hit Factory promo cassette, the UK cd, two different UK promo CDs, the Japanese cd, and I may have something else, but I'm at work on break tight now, so I can't check right now. And thank you, numbersix.

May be futile, but I'm looking for any Manic Street Preachers vinyl I don't have. If you have any of their stuff you want to part with, drop me a line. Tell me what you have, and if I happen to not have it I will certainly let you know. (I can possibly boast the largest Stateside Manics collection, if not one of the largest.) Most of my collection is on cd, as the international shipping is cheaper to get cds, but I'm looking to possibly fill some holes in the collection. Thanks in advance.

I've never wanted to know what I'm getting as a gift. I've always felt that that ruins the feeling of surprise that you SHOULD have when getting a gift. Ah well. I've told my wife to hint to my parents, "That Bad Religion LP set would make a nice gift for your son..." but that's something I know I won't find under the tree when I go back to Ohio. Nowadays, so much of my record purchases are pretty particular, so if someone doesn't know exactly what I have, they tend to not get me records. Sucks, but oh well.

Just sayin', my wallet and my wife almost killed me when I got a sealed copy of that. So expensive.

Manic Street Preachers - Suicide Alley Their first 7" from back in 1988, 100 of the 300 pressed had handmade covers made by the guy who ended up being the 2nd guitarist/lyricist later on. It's my white whale because I don't know if I'll ever have the money to get a copy if they come up. Especially if it's part of that 100/300. The Blue picture sleeve is expensive enough. I've asked Jello Biafra if he'd ever sell his. He said he prefers to trade. Yeah, like I'd ever have anything Jello wants to trade for. Longtime white whale that I acquired? Earlier this year, I picked up a sticker sealed promotional remix copy of Everything Must Go by Manic Street Preachers. It was the last one I needed of the 8 remix 12" promos they released between 1996 and 1999 (spanning four singles from two albums each). This was easily the most expensive, but I now own sealed copies of all of them. Now to track down the white label copies... 7 more to go on that one...
