Error on top of error... a handful of early orders (yours must have been one) must have also had printing errors and were filed out of chronological order... We had 5 copies for the "vault" which we pulled from, so I don't actually think we now have any at all here at DW. We love our customers.

Unfortunately we oversold on the pink vinyl. Even with padding the numbers for safety we are forced to cancel ~30 orders. Sorry!

I have a story to tell but the dude probably posts here, so I won't.

We don't mind doing it, but it does involve "marking" orders in the system, and also then finding the print out, physically marking it, and setting it aside, and then... for one order, it doesn't seem like a thing that could get messed up, but there are a good number of customers who do this for every preorder we launch, and they stack... so mistakes are possible.

Yes we do do this. But your order might have shipped before we were able to set it aside to hold till the other PO ships.

We just wanted a black sleeve and that's what it was. We do a lot of thick printed inserts aka Euro Sleeves so we wont be doing this for every record.

Please do not do the things that people are telling you to by loading your cart and seeing what the message says. It seriously can mess with store's inventories. If you want to know, hit up the label via email, or twitter or whatever.

Every time we do a new "hot" record, someone goes in right away, fills their cart with as many records as they can, and then just leans back in their troll chair and LOL's at the twitterers OMGing about the rarest color being sold out. Then I have to go in and delete all the baskets to fix it, which screws everyone else that is trying to buy anything else... That's all.

Yeah, we were trying to deal with this this week in preparation for this PO, but were unable to fix it. Actually... feel free to forward any such messages - with full headers - to [email protected] so we can try and solve it.
