  1. This is easily the most insane thing I've ever heard you say. I thought we shared a ton of the same tastes but Into Another is amazing. "Splinters" on s/t is possibly their best song. I probably saw this band 30 times live. I couldn't get enough of them. Anyway, I'm harassing you. I know a lot of folks don't like Richie's voice. I think IA was the turning point in HC and Post-HC where instrumentation took a huge leap forward. Of the four RSD Revelation releases... Into Another would be the first on my list... ....I like my metal, and this one is ace...although, Ignaurus still tops IA's discography for me. Spun my promo copy this past weekend. And to think some of the band members came from Youth of Today and Bold...
  2. First 50 PPM mailorder copies on opaque purple vinyl... get it NOW. http://www.postpresentmedium.com/vinyl/ 900 on black. some pics here: http://postpresentmediumstories.publishpath.com/stories $18.00 shipped in the U.S. the artwork/packaging for this LP rules.
  3. that's a steal folks! no "show no mercy" and "hell awaits"!!! my two fave slayer albums...
  4. usually thrift shops have tons of those hip hop/house promo or whatever 12"s with the generic white or black jackets for roughly $0.25 to $2.00 plus tax (depends on the shop) a pop. use the jacket to house your beloved vinyl, and use the whatever 12" for a frisbee. that'll suffice.
  5. another repress of "You're A Woman, I'm A Machine". I remember all the shops about 5-6 years ago had tons of these in stock... and then voila! all gone. then Heads Up got another 12" repress which sold out rather quickly. and another repress in pink vinyl? here's the link to the pink 2x12" LP... from the U.K. http://www.discogs.com/Death-From-Above-1979-Youre-A-Woman-Im-A-Machine/release/498265 there's a Vice promo copy for $20.00 on discogs now with selected tracks... http://www.discogs.com/buy/Vinyl/Death-From-Above-1979-Youre-A-Woman-Im-A-Machine/36125961?ev=bp_titl
  6. white vinyl... SOLD OUT. glad I bought early! http://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=201318 black vinyl remains... http://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=201548&
  7. Maybe not love... certainly not hate. But yes, ridiculous. I'm buying, perhaps. No longer have to search for the Euro release now... http://www.discogs.com/Sum-41-All-Killer-No-Filler/release/2188792
  8. If anybody is interested in The Brown Bunny soundtrack on vinyl... which Frusciante dominates on the B side, let me know... it's on orange vinyl (I have a sealed copy and an un-sealed copy). And the soundtrack IS good.... as is the film. Vincent Gallo won't allow you to sell it... anywhere, not even Discogs. http://www.discogs.com/Various-The-Brown-Bunny-OST/release/669395 In regards to the original post, I haven't had any issues with not purchasing a record when it becomes available, via an email update.... so far, so good.
  9. Same here... The last records I purchased at that shop (Pearl City) was the Dude Ranch and Enema exclusive LP's... a few weeks later, they no longer sold vinyl. Now... there's only ONE Hot Topic in the ENTIRE state (Hawaii) that carries records... Ala Moana Shopping Center, and that place is a madhouse. Went to Washington State a few months ago and the one in Lynnwood had a teenie weenie selection... in a couple cardboard boxes on the floor BELOW the cd's..
  10. Exactly. I'm hoping the Drive soundtrack will be around 1500 too. I'm hoping they press more than 1500 for Drive... 1500 copies for the 1983 (or 1981?) film won't be as in demand.. no? but yeah... it's Mondo, it will sell out. This film rips.. and the soundtrack as well. Fulci's films, including New York Ripper and Zombi are classic...
  11. Oh Mondo.... another dent in the wallet. at least it's not 500 like the Maniac Soundtrack.
  12. No Media Mail option... just First Class/Priority Mail for starters.
  13. On their main page.. there's an article pertaining to Record Store Day 2012 releases and mentions the white vinyl... http://www.subpop.com/channel/blog/sub_pop_makes_record_store_day_2012_worth_living_with_releases_from_beach_house_blitzen_trapper_and_shabazz_palaces
  14. Pre-orders just went up... those who pre-order the LP format directly from Sub Pop will receive the limited, white vinyl Loser Edition, and a limited edition Beach House poster. Bundles also available.... http://www.subpop.com/releases/beach_house/full_lengths/bloom
  15. same with Travis... not a fan of 7 inches really. i'll purchase a 12"...or a 10" for that matter any day over a 7". for instance, SST has pressed several 7"s on 10" format... such as Minutemen's Paranoid Time.... I'll put out the extra dolares for them 10 inches. my 7" collection is rather... minute, in comparison to my 12"s....
  16. I started the ebay thing over 10 years ago when I resided in California (Oakland to be exact) and was offering Media Mail during my residency there... For about five years or so of shipping this method... I had zero complaints. Then my wife wanted to raise our son in Hawaii... and, all hell broke loose. I was having buyers complain of receiving their parcels up to TWO MONTHS from the East Coast, and up to ONE MONTH for the West Coast.... when USPS states 7-14 days or whatever for delivery. Bullshit. It goes by boat folks... Then complaints of parcels annihilated, razored, demolished during transit were compiling. About 1 in 10 buyers contacted me regarding their grievances and such. After taking a tremendous loss of shipping Media Mail, I cut it off for good. Hawaii isn't paradise, not for me that is... but, that's another story, for another time. For the lower 48er's, I'd say Media Mail is fine. It was odd though getting a record shipped within a 20-30 mile radius (via Media Mail, of course) that took 3 days..
  17. congratulations! hope to visit your shop when i get back to my hometown someday, the greatness which is oakland. in the meantime, i'll just purchase the goods from your online shop...
  18. so early... i don't care. the artwork is killer. ordered! thanks a million.
  19. an eye for an eye? that isn't nice. try a bit of nihilism folks... move on.
  20. thanks! these were actually the cream of the crop... had to pull out about 15 which didn't make the cut that were just played/colored to death. everything ends tomorrow folks!
  21. you like da kine records brah? ha! couldn't quite pull off the pidgen accent after residing here a few years. i don't think i qualify as kamaaina... from oakland, calif originally. we'll see about that kamaaina rate.
