matt why dont you drop me an email and we can discuss this further? [email protected]

unfortunately i no longer own the rights to the album. its worth bringing up to them, but i doubt its something that would that well. the record, which is by far one of my favorite releases that i had the pleasure of having a hand in, didnt do as well as some may believe. the audience might be small, so its worthy of doing a 500 run, unfortunately it would have to be a double lp which probably would kill the costs.

guys thanks for the positive feedback! I am really happy with the way everything came out. It took some time but it was certainly worth it. Cant believe you guys are already reading the notes etched into the vinyl!!! i also cant believe how fast the shipping was. Enjoy the records & the stickers. Another vinyl release is coming soon...i am super excited. thanks again!

Good Life Records pressing info
christopherods replied to dietrootbeer's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Unfortunately with Good Life you will never get a straight answer as to their pressing numbers and colors. He released my band years ago and sold several thousand copies of our vinyl and when asked about it said he never repressed them. There are clearly differences in each pressing from the insert to the jackets to the colors. At this point I could care less that I never received the royalties I just want to know the actual numbers, which I know I wont get. -
no the initial 1000 did not sell out, however i did set aside a certain number for preorder (plus overrun) which i had shipped directly from the plant to my place. i did reach that number. the remainder went to distributors, but will not be released officially until 4/22. Both distributors received different colors, so one wont have blue, the other green. You get the deal.

i wanted to do a discography for these guys but it just never happened after years or trying. its unfortunate that few people know who these guys are.

Milkshed/Grass Patch "A Field Guide to Crop Circle Activity" on Space Cadette Records. Probably the best artwork I have ever seen. Each had a handmade booklet with vellum paper on crop circle activity and aliens as well as a hand sewn vinyl bag to hold the record. Hand numbered and embossed. Track it down. Its amazing!

Makoto split 7" series -- what happened?
christopherods replied to scottheisel's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
if i am not mistaken he changed the name of his label at some point to makoto. i do recall someone telling me that he used to run a distro or label and ripped a bunch of people off. he took that down and started up makoto. i could be wrong....i dont know the guy, its just something i heard a long long time ago. -
justin is definitely a great guy, so you can be sure if you bid that he wont be using another username to jack up the price. he will probably just ask a friend to do it. jeeeeeez

actually the movielife/ex number five (no plural) is out of 8. Just so you know. I wonder who you got these off of. I cant remember who on earth I gave test presses too, yeah, its that long ago and I am getting old. I assume they have gone through numerous hands by now.

i have ordered from these guys for the last few years. they have a great selection and a lot of hard to find items. definitely worth looking for records on your want list that are not considering expensive/rare items.
