This is absolutely insane for the band and Robodog! I can’t believe there is this much demand for this record that lex himself has said leaves a lot to be desired.

The only thing is it’s a real bummer that they didn’t remaster it after all this time. Not to dog on the record but it’s 11 minutes of bad mastering.

Otherwise intense songs on the record end up...pretty flat. Especially compared to the monster 7” that preceded it.

I discovered the band by the track Mike Morowitz the Fantasy Fuck from that album, in like 2003 off of mp3.com, and never had a problem with the CD master --upgrading to vinyl finally...

I had to buy it to complete my Daughters collection cause I'm one of those people. Anybody know when we should expect these to ship? It seems like they aren't even in production yet or at least the white and clear might not be because they were added on last minute? Looked at the product listing on robotic empire and it didn't mention a date, but it does mention they are working on new music

They were saying it'd ship end of april, beginning of may.

Looks like Robotic Empire's smoke variant is limited to 700. They will also have 1,000 to sell on standard black.

Edit: Also sounds like the Orange/White Smoke was a Patreon exclusive release.

There was a maroon/tan variant they had on patreon limited to 100, which seemed to have sold out in 15mins... It appears the orange/white smoke (of 700) and the green/green splatter (of 200) will be available at both robotic empire and districtlines.

Hmm, if they pop up at a local store, and if there's nothing else that has my wallet's attention, then I'll actually buy both box sets. Convenience and being able to skip the direct-order process is everything.

This will just be a bundle of the 3 albums, not a boxset. I got both the 1-3 and 4-6 from boomkat when they were available in 2019, and it was individual albums shipped together at a slightly discounted price --£10 cheaper when I got them though.

  5. My first comment on this site is to point out that Last Night In Town is getting seriously overlooked, hardly even being mentioned here --some gems on that one. Emergency Broadcast Syndrome, Here's Lookin at You,  Punchdrunk Punkrock Romance, the middle minute of Pincushion is one of my favourite in hardcore music from the 2000s, and the instrumental track that leads into and introduces the riff in Logic of Crocodiles is kinda genius.

I'll ignore the Burial Plot Bidding War ep, but that's got some fantastic moments too, even if the vocal processing was terrible...
