  1. I actually feel like there are 1 or 2 tracks that are definitely more forgettable only relative the greatness of the rest of the Deftones catalog. "Mein" and "Xerxes" are a little bit "meh" to me but there are so many amazing tracks on the album that it more than makes up for it.

  3. If she gives you the order confirmation number you can go pick it up yourself. She should be able to find that number in the email that confirms that you placed an order at the store to be picked up there assuming that she received that email first. I think you mentioned it but can't remember now.
  4. Yeah, I can see that a little better there. Thanks, Jhulud. Looks pretty sweet!
  5. Sometimes their system just doesn't work as quickly as the actual physical delivery. I'm willing to bet she'll get an email about it eventually even if you pick it up first.
  6. Thanks. Just found it. The picture doesn't really make the cover look all that different. Could just be the lighting. I think I saw the pic but didn't notice the difference in the cover because I assumed it was the same but with awkward lighting.
  7. I didn't realize the cover was gonna be all Gangsta. Got pictures?
  8. I ordered something to be sent to my HT on Saturday and it was there by Thursday. I'm sure there are thousands of variables though. Hope that helps.
  9. score! i still need to buy that one but i figure it's not important being just album tracks :-/ maybe i'll play the Minerva 7" now. Yeah, but its two of my absolute FAVORITE Deftones tracks overall AND its at 45 RPM!!! Plus the cover is fucking beautiful! Win/Win/Win. There hasn't been this much win since Charlie Sheen was born of Zeus and cast in gold for the world to adore! I scored the Minerva 7" a few weeks ago. Shit was mint! $14. Thank you, eBay. I PM'd you something.
  10. That's awesome of you to rip and upload it. I found a different version on youtube though and that's probably the same one as this. I'll download when I get home. I prefer the Crow II version to the different one I heard last night though. Actually just scored a Hexagram 7" last night around the time we were posting about this. Pretty excited!
  11. I never really got fully into FL and I always dug what I heard but that colored version is so sick, I can't even believe it.
  12. I have a feeling we're going to get all the Pink Cellphone we need. And she's totally hotter brunette. Not diggin' blond on her.
  13. My copy of Mercury Program's All The Suits Began To Fall Off has the scraping like no other which sucks because they have a lot of quiet dynamics and that scraping is louder than any other scraping I've ever heard on a record. Anybody else have this record with this problem? I'm thinking about just picking up another copy.
  14. Yeah, I would pretty much fill the board too if I did that. Its all good. I would definitely rock this and Swan Song if they pressed them.
  15. Spray record with this: http://www.amazon.com/Pfanstiehl-SA-14-Pfan-Stat-Record-Cleaning/dp/B001MM797M I usually give 2 to 3 good sprays at a distance that will allow the projection of the solution to span the entire groove area of the record. Wipe said record in a circular fashion using force at your own discretion with this: http://www.amazon.com/Carbon-Record-Clea....535282&sr=8-15 Wipe soot and debris from brush after spin wiping record. Repeat a few times. Add solution as needed but you shouldn't have to add too much. Spin dry each side at 78 RPM. Feel free to touch the brush down on the record surface lightly as record spins. This has generally been my system for close to a year. Mild variations occur as my superstitious nature dictates. The solution, I can recommend. The brush I have is velvet like the linked one but made my the same company that makes the solution. There are many other solutions and brushes. Shop around. Good luck.
  16. he could probably use a fairly simple lesson in supply / demand. looks to me like he flooded his own market. For some reason the phrase "flooded his own market" just cracked me up...
  17. I saw them play in my driveway.... Fuck everybody lol
  18. That fucking conversion rate is so deadly though! But its cool for people who legitimately missed out if they're willing to spend the cash.
  19. Changed my life, bro! They had quite a few copies of this left when I saw them at the end of last summer but I think they sold out by the end of the night. I had just gotten one from ebay from some weird store that came as if from nowhere, listed the record for 10.98 BIN, and disappeared after I had received the record. Deus Ex Machina for SURE. I should have gotten an extra from the band too.
  20. I get you, man. I'm not judging. Shows ingenuity. I like that!
  21. I can't even come close to beating your attendance. Ha. The only reason I went to Summer Sanitarium is because my friend's brother worked for Interscope and got free tickets for us. I only missed the first song (which was "Headup") but I could hear it echoing in the distance as I approached the stage. Confirmed with other people later that it was the first song they played. If I were a multi-millionaire I'd follow them around on tour all the time. But while we're fantasizing about having boat-loads of money, I'd also be commissioning the quintessential S/T vinyl package.
