Goddamn, I've seen them like 5 times and I'm definitely the biggest Deftones fan I know in real life. I would have seen them more but I was too young to go to shows when they first broke out. First time I saw them was in 2003. I really wish I had gone out of my way to see them in the WP era. I've seen Summer Sanitarium 2003, Fall Tour 2003, Fall 2004, Spring 2010.....feels like there's another one I'm missing... And now I have a wedding when they're here on April 30th. Gonna bust my ass to try and do both.

Guys, I've found if you test the skipping parts with a higher and higher tracking force, eventually the needle will be heavy enough to not be shoved out of the groove by whatever is pushing it out. After multiple records with multiple skips each, I've only had one record with one skip that could not be resolved by doing this. All, I'm saying is give it a try. And you might just have to remember that when you want to play that certain record you gotta turn the force up to 3 1/2 or 4 grams or what have you. That said, my black B,S has a pretty harsh scraping sound in the grooves in the first couple of tracks but luckily is only really audible during very quiet passages of which there aren't many in that part of record. Its cool though. I got it brand new for so cheap I can't really complain. Would still like to grab another copy of this though. Hoping they'll run off another batch since they claim its NOT limited.

I understand. Glassjaw definitely isn't for everyone. But isn't it funny that people who don't want a certain record run into it time and time again when the folks who are chomping at the bit to get the same record can't find one to save their life? Nice of you to offer to grab it for someone though. =)

Why didn't you snag it for yourself? Not a fan? Already have it? By the way, noticed you're from Texas. The lady I spoke to on the phone said my order was coming from a Texas store.

What's the deal with that? If I ever get a band going again and we get to the point of producing even three quality studio tracks, that shit is getting pressed to solid, opaque red vinyl post haste! Why isn't there more of this out there? I know those Tom Waits represses that ended up being botched were pressed to red but the red ones were way too expensive. Even the black ones were a bit on the pricey side.

Thanks! That's a quick answer. Was kind of hoping for red but I'll take it on black. Also scored a Warpaint 12" single for "Shadows" that's just solid red! My first opaque red record ever and I've been wanting one for so long. Good times.

Hate to post right after myself in the same thread but I have a new development that fits here better than anywhere else. I went to Reckless tonight to score a few things but among them was a copy of Refused - STFTFOD and its labeled as "New" and it looks new but its black! I thought this repress was only on red. Anybody know anything about this?

Dude, I've been obsessing over "Kool-Aid Party" for like a week now and I know that song will never end up on a vinyl release of this album if it ever did happen, but I am SOOO with you on the love for that track! Fuck. I have to listen to it NOW.

I don't know if anyone out there like me in 2002 was downloading W&T as soon as it leaked but to me, the final retail version will always be incomplete and so will the LP. it's not a slam on you by any means, it's just how i feel about the whole situation. they've played the song live as well. if Roadrunner is now under the Warner Music tree, they should have went the extra mile to make right on the album that was wronged all those years ago. I know a label doesn't give a damn about a 9 year old album unless pressing it to vinyl is going to make them money, but still. put the extra effort in and release it as a 2xLP and charge me $30. I'd happily pay it for this album as a whole. I'm sure most true Glassjaw fans would pay it just the same. /pipedream Under no circumstances should a 2XLP be $30. Its just too much. I don't care what anyone says. If the recent press of Oceanic retails for $19 to $23, there's no reason most of these other $30 2XLP's should be that much. Most of the packages don't even touch the quality of the new Oceanic. Blows my mind. And I would totally buy Candyass!

I wouldn't mind if there eventually was a "Convectuoso" 7" that I could put on after W&T finished playing.

I'm all for this but making a thread for every release you want is probably going to be less effective than you may be thinking.

I just got MOS(SI) on gold in the mail the other day. Sounds effing amazing! The Root (Live) on the b-side sounds like a glorified bootleg though. I also have the Red WP. Love it. JESUS GOD, YES! So I had a backordered order from Interpunk for a copy of Shape Of Punk To Come that I was going to end up trying to find an in-stock item to swipe it for as I assumed they'd never re-stock this since its been backordered for so long but now I just got a shipment confirmation from them. I wonder if they just grabbed a blue one from King's Road just to fulfill my order.

WHOA! I didn't realize it was a different version! Different from the Crow II: City of Angels Soundtrack??? Yeah, the only thing stopping me from buying it is that I never catch the end of an auction and I don't want to pay $70 for the one BIN on eBay right now. I would easily pay $30 for it though.
