I just grabbed an expedit on Friday and it totally makes my record collection that much more awesome. I will post pics in the Post Your Record Storage thread soon so I can feel as cool as I imagined all those other people felt who already had neat storage areas.

^SERIOUSLY! They know they could sell the fuck out of a repress. I think there might be some legal licensing issues regarding the album and Zoo or something (just speculation based on notions I've gotten over the years) which is probably the main reason they haven't done it yet but if Deftones are finally releasing ATF, I think its beyond high time that they get on this.

Not sure if it will be the same orange on both ATF and GJ. Havent seen either in person yet. I know HT is getting orange exclusively on GJ, not sure if they pressed more copies for anyone else. I dont think they did, it comes out in less than a month and I havent seen any preorders for it anywhere. Thanks again for the info. Much appreciated. Awesome picture. Same here. On a side note, I scored a OG copy for $30 about 3 months ago. The records are perfect but the cover is in pretty shitty condition. It was worth it though since the LPs were fine. Same here. Goddamn it! I would kill for that regardless of the jacket! Lucky dog! I want to spin an original Aenima sooooo badly.... :'( :'( :'(

Its funny because Rolling Stone Records is right across the street, you'd figure the town might have some culture when it comes to music and be supporting vinyl to some degree but no. There's something wrong with the people in that town in general, never mind the music thing.

Used the 20% off for RSD at HT to justify grabbing the Blue Sky Noise 2XLP. Had to have them order it so after tax and $1 shipping to the store it was like $26. I can live with that for it being my least favorite Circa album but needing to have a complete CS vinyl collection.

The Hot Topic by work hasn't gotten new vinyl in over a year probably. They just have two shitty little racks with leftover, unwanted, picked over crap titles. The one southwest of me is pretty damn good about vinyl and the main manager is a really cool chic who always helps me out, especially when the shitty kiosk runs so slow that it can't process my order. The one that's north west of me always has a great selection as well but I go there so seldom because its kind of a long drive. I might start hitting that one up more.

The Used - S/T Finch - Say Hello To Sunshine (WIITB was ok but pretty "meh" in comparison) Bloc Party - Silent Alarm (none of the other ones can even come close) Fall of Troy - Doppleganger (Interestingly, the last three were all from the same year and possibly the same season that year and I got them all quite close to their original release date or on release date. A great trio of albums to have gotten all at once. They defined Summer '05 for me.) Jaguar Love - Take Me To The Sea (WTF is Hologram Jams? Terribleness) Our Lady Peace - Spiritual Machines (Not that the rest was terrible, I just couldn't get into anything else) Honorable mention would be Mudvayne though it doesn't exactly fit the criteria, first two albums were great, the first being quite a bit better than the next but EVERYTHING after was pure shit. Their S/T was acceptable but such a far cry from their potential that it still looks like shit in comparison to LD 50. Reverse mention: mewithoutYou because they are the exact inverse of the thread title: only 1 bad album out of 4. 75% ain't bad.

A place in downtown Davis, called Dimple Records. It has a sticker on it saying "exclusive white...only at Hot Topic" or something along those lines, which I didn't even see until I got home or I would have asked about it. It was 22.98. They made a $1.99 on that shit lol.

I'm all about that part as well. I remember when I downloaded it in '04 and thought that was one of the coolest things I've ever heard and immediately ran out and bought the CD which was only like 3 or 4 bucks brand new. I noticed that the fidelity on his voice in that part is particularly noticeably better on the LP than the CD. It just sound like its playing from a film's audio track on my home stereo speakers. It has a definite sheen in the tone.

Got one. Black. Music is pretty classic Pinback. Not a bad thing. Awesome packaging. It was easier to get the tape off without damaging the brown bag than I thought it would be.

Man, I should have gone to the HT by my work today. Even though they haven't restocked vinyl since like March of '10, I wonder if they would have gotten some shit. I'll check tomorrow on the way to work.
