  1. the colored variants are nice, and i think the fact that day 3 is finally on 12" is pretty cool, but i already have the OGs of these so i don't see a need for them. i do hope that they find their way to the US for all those that do need / want them tho.
  2. from what i understand, the OP was exclusively released in the US. if this is true, that means a UK pressing is in high demand for US citizens. 3500 isn't a lot considering the population of the UK, i can easily see that number selling out in no time to a country that didn't have a chance at owning it on vinyl ever before.
  3. i still don't understand why a texas band is only doing an east coast tour. i might go out of my way to attend the DC show, or maybe to new york so i can see them twice, i dunno.
  4. this. s/t is nice, but soup is where it's at. i bought the RSD copy last year, and wound up selling it a few months later. i found myself never spinning it, and i really hated what they did with the cover art.
  5. "The front cover number at lower right looks like is is hand written with a ball point pen, but it may have just been traced over with pen."
  6. pokey lafarge released a really limited 78 around the same time his new album came out. they were selling it at the vintage vinyl instore he played for his album release, but i didn't pick one up because my TT can't play 78.
  7. i guess it's speculation. i'm assuming that with this release, we'll be seeing francis and amputecture soon.
  8. i really hope this cd box set sticks with the small box pattern that the first 3 and TAFH had, and has the $35 price tag like the first two did. i've been buying the cd boxes because i already own all SP vinyl, tho i did opt for the TAFH vinyl set for obvious reasons. but it's starting to get ridiculous the way they've been pricing these after siamese dream, pisces was $45 because of the extra tape (but worth it, imo), MCIS was over $100! thats insane too me. i still haven't bought the MCIS set because of that. edit: i just noticed it's a six disc set. goddammit. im really stoked for the b-sides, i'd love for an early recording of 'let me give the world to you' to be on here, as well as remasters of 'chewing gum', 'soot and stars', 'winterlong', 'do you close your eyes', 'jersey shore' etc. maybe some TEBITE alternate takes?
  9. this, i sold my GITD copy of francis on here a few years back, and i don't miss it at all. it sounded horrible. i'll be happy to pick up the repress when it comes out next. anyone know if it's going to be 3xLP with locked grooves like the og was?
  10. if someone is willing to trust me and snag me one of these before they sell out, i'll have the money by next wednesday at the latest. PM me if you're rad like that.
  11. got a silver from SRC. hate that price tag but what can i do. gunna try and snag a frengers later this week if i can.
  12. i want this so bad. the price is kinda high for a record but still better than comparing to the original. i hope they're still in stock next week.
  13. i'm sick of the way you people don't appreciate brand new
  14. get 'slippery when i'll, instead of stepped in. also peace thru vandalism and when in rome are essential.
  15. interested, even tho i know it's unlistenable. check my tradelist on deadformat and PM me, maybe we can work something out.
