the colored variants are nice, and i think the fact that day 3 is finally on 12" is pretty cool, but i already have the OGs of these so i don't see a need for them.

 

i do hope that they find their way to the US for all those that do need / want them tho.

Im struggling to believe that 3500 copies of deloused on gold have sold out worldwide though (I get the silver was a more limited release but as it was taylored more for the US crowd I would assume the gold wont have sold as big in the US? maybe? cross fingers).

 

Considering mother love bone was 1500 and STP tiny music was 2500 and they were both sought after records globally that commanded pretty big prices in the used market and were all available in their colour variants for a while locally. Im feeling hopeful for gold deloused!

 

This post is really about trying to reassure myself for the next month that I have the gold... which in all honesty due to sleeping on this I probably dont .

if this is true, that means a UK pressing is in high demand for US citizens.

 

3500 isn't a lot considering the population of the UK, i can easily see that number selling out in no time to a country that didn't have a chance at owning it on vinyl ever before.

i still don't understand why a texas band is only doing an east coast tour.

 

i might go out of my way to attend the DC show, or maybe to new york so i can see them twice, i dunno.

i found myself never spinning it, and i really hated what they did with the cover art.

Maybe an s/t repress with the original artwork would also be nice?

pokey lafarge released a really limited 78 around the same time his new album came out.

 

they were selling it at the vintage vinyl instore he played for his album release, but i didn't pick one up because my TT can't play 78.

i really hope this cd box set sticks with the small box pattern that the first 3 and TAFH had, and has the $35 price tag like the first two did.

 

i've been buying the cd boxes because i already own all SP vinyl, tho i did opt for the TAFH vinyl set for obvious reasons.

 

but it's starting to get ridiculous the way they've been pricing these after siamese dream, pisces was $45 because of the extra tape (but worth it, imo), MCIS was over $100! thats insane too me. i still haven't bought the MCIS set because of that.

 

edit: i just noticed it's a six disc set. goddammit.

 

im really stoked for the b-sides, i'd love for an early recording of

'let me give the world to you' to be on here, as well as remasters of 'chewing gum', 'soot and stars', 'winterlong', 'do you close your eyes', 'jersey shore' etc.
